Ok...I have a LOT of dragons that need names.
Most of them will be a different species once the projects done. (a breeding pair of every species!)


I have 6 Males in need of names!
and 8 females in need of names!

I would love name ideas in the form of "Matching pairs" that are somehow oceanic, elegant, poetic or descriptive in theme.

For example: ShimmerSea is paired with SeaShimmer, JewelOfSouls is paired to JewelofHearts, Ahti (god of sea and fishing) is paired to Vellamo (goddess of the sea, wife to Ahti -Finnish mythology)

Males that have names already are: Ryujin & Arcanus

Argo (history people, HISTORY)-Bluenose (fishing and racing schooner, featured on the Canadian dime and once on a Canadian 50 cent postage stamp and on the Nova Scotia licence plate)
Umberlee (goddess of waves and storms, in the Deities of Fury, Faerun)-Talos (god of storms, leader of the Deities of Fury, aka Kozah, Faerun)
Riptide-Tsunami
Whitewater-Rapids
Seaweed-Kelp
Oceanus (Greek god of the sea)-Tethys (Greek goddess of the sea, Oceanus' wife)

(Welsh for water x river )

Rain x Raina

Pieces x Aquarius (perhaps match these based on dragon hatch-days?)

Marius, for a boy (latin, 'of the sea')

Tulia, for a girl (latin, 'heavy rain')

Nerida - for a girl, Greek name meaning mermaid

Those are some good names, I'll have to go through them all and see what fits
