$30 is a bit steep....what the heck.....

Saw that...comes with the hitching post but still not cool. I love the mount, but all these store mounts are getting a lil ridiculous...

...Oh. Well, looks like I'm waiting for a sale. >.< I really love it, but- ANOTHER store mount? I haven't even gotten my Skyreaver!

I have a hard time paying $25 for a mount. That post isn't worth the extra $5 at all for me.

I'm seeing things where the reaver will be a store mount too...not really surprised anymore...

I'm pretty upset about how many mounts are becoming Store mounts, I admit. I mean, I understand that it gives out-of-place mounts a place to be, because they wouldn't make sense dropping from a boss when these bosses don't have any Rylaks or weird metal horses.

...But... what about crafting? Achievements? MoP was absolutely barren when it comes to 5-man dungeon mounts. They just didn't exist at all, which is massively disappointing for mount farmers. I would love it if they introduced some mounts that way, instead of shoving them into the Store. Or rare spawns! Or literally anything except the store! x.x

Adding that to my list of things to buy when I have extra money...and only if it's on a discount sale...in the mean time I'll have to make do with hoping one of my guildies gets one and I can use the hitching post.

I'm all for store mounts over achievement ones(Especially raid achievement ones cause I still dont have any of those since Wrath). But $30 for a hitching post?

I'll get it eventually. I just think the price is ridiculous.

I'm definitely with you there. I'm not against store mounts and minipets and such, it's nice to have them, but it really is disappointing that almost every shiny new mount is automatically put up for sale. I enjoy finding rare mounts in game, or earning them, or farming for them if I want them enough. Gives me more stuff to do, it's fun to have goals!

Again I have no problem with purchasable goodies, I just wish they'd go easy on the store ones and disperse some elsewhere.

About the price I don't find it any less crazy then the normal price! I mean they already are around $30 NZ as it is! Like just looking at exchange rates atm $25 US is around $28 NZ and then $30 US is about $32 NZ

For those that do buy it don't forget that they're sending the hitching post on ALL your characters, so check out your mailboxes before it gets auto-deleted.

Don't worry, the mail only triggers to send once you've logged in to a character for the first time after purchase, if you haven't gone to an alt it wouldn't be sitting there.

Not to be rude, but there are tons of mounts in the game, and only eight, so far, are store-bought.

Not rude. It's fact. Majority of mounts atm are ingame, not in the store. I think the complaint isn't so much the store mounts as it is just lately it's all been store stuff.

I just picked one up since I've been sitting on a battlenet balance for a while now. For anyone who is confused about what you get, it's an actual mount (like normal) plus the hitching post. Is that worth $5 more? I guess if you like toys it might be (as some people like to collect TCG items), otherwise it just takes up bag space.

Maybe it'd been nice if they gave you the option to purchase only the mount or the post, if you didn't want both? I would've bought the mount only if that was an option.

The mount is a little wonky IMO since it uses the stag run animation, so it doesn't run like a horse (I know, it's mechanical, and not a horse, so I don't mind them taking some liberties with it). It also has that tilting problem that the Swift Windsteed has on uneven terrain (oh, actually I guess it's the same skeleton - that would explain it).

is this one of those flying ground mounts?

it looks cool.

my guild is too small to do achievements for mounts, so I don't get most of the in-game mounts and I don't really do any PvP (it's taken me over a year of the very little bit of PvP I DO do to get a few of those), so I'm quite happy when they add store mounts.

even if the mount were $1, people would complain about it. it's the internet... of course people are going to complain.

Something interesting to note that I tested, you do NOT need to be level 20 to place down a hitching post, but you do need that level and the riding skill to be able to get the buff. But at least if you're in a group with a higher level friend, you can use the hitching post to give him/her the buff.

Personally, as much as the "Hitching Post" adds some flavor, it's not technically a real mount.
I'm going to pass on this one until I get some more bag space AND it's on sale... and even then it will be a maybe. I just don't see myself remembering to find it, drop it, click it, then mount up, and continue to do so ever 20min to access a mount, no matter how cool it looks.
