I'm just wondering how many people have gotten the Legendary Cloak, and if they recall the Quest line. I'm currently on Deeds of Valor, and I found all of the quest in the chain. However, they don't seem to be in order. Could someone list them in order, or point me in the direction that I could find them in the proper order. I know after this quest, I have to collect titan runestones at some point. I wish I would of saved my valor. I won't get to that quest before the buff is gone. If the drop rate is anything like the Sigils or power or wisdom, it could take awhile to get them all.

Well so much for getting the cloak... More collection quests.. I have to get 20 Secrets of the Empire, on top of titan runestones. I don't think it's possible to finish this quest line, before the expansion comes out.

Currently characters have a buff "Gaze of the Black Prince" which increases the rep by 100%, increased drop chance on secrets, sigils and runestones. Soo, now would be a GREAT time to hit the LFR's for the drops!

It would, but I didn't know when the quest for collecting 3,000 valor was coming. So I've been spending it.. I will have the 3,000 on Tuesday July 8th, at the earliest. If they would only extend it by a a week I could pull it off. I kick myself for spending my valor.. Wish I could get it back.

The quest does NOT take into account the Valor Points you have earned prior to the quest

I know. Otherwise, I would of shown progress on the quest. I don't have any progress as of yet.

You don't have to keep the valor you earn in the 3 weeks it's needed to complete the quest. Spending your valor doesn't mess with it

If you're hovering close to 3000 valor, you actually must spend it. Otherwise you hit the total valor cap and can't earn any more for the quest. It's a poorly designed quest whose only purpose is to slow your progress down for 3-4 weeks (especially if you already have vp towards your weekly valor cap when you pick up the quest.

The rep part of the chain is the only part (well, there's trillium too) of the chain you can prepare for before you get the quest. If you're not exalted yet, there's two spots on Isle of Thunder where you can farm rep pretty well. Where the mogu constantly wander out of the central area to fight npcs.

Well that helps with gear upgrades. Nothing I could of done, to speed up the quest. Makes me feel abit better.

Its the worst part because theres nothing you can do to speed it up (as well as the pvp cause as alliance we can't organise a root in a brothel let alone a bg win..) I'm onto my 2nd cloak atm and the "Secrets of the Empire" has the worst drop rate ever - I did all 8 bosses that drop them in SoO last night and only got the guarrenteed one, thank goodness I'll hopefully have that buff for ToT tonight.

The 12 titanstones weren't too horrible from memory and the rest you can do right away. Theres a guy in a guild I'm in thats done it 7 times - how he had the paitence I have no idea!!

Hopefully, they will do something to speed things up. Blizz, seems to want more people to get the cloak. They might of gone overkill, on how hard it is to get this cloak.

I don't think at the time it was overkill per say - they put roadblocks in so ppl wouldnt wiz through it to begin with which for a legendary is fair enough - but now those roadblocks seem abit redundant so they need to be lifted or eased alittle.

The extra valor week was a good thing in theory BUT having the cap at 1000 was really stupid. That needs to come up to 3k weekly as valor is stupid easy to get now with the timeless coins (ive finally burnt through the 100k I had on Cas) and that we are so overgeared for heroics its not funny. It also makes it a very lengthy process to upgrade your gear as you can only essentially do it 4 times a week with the cap (if you spend it all inone go like me). At this very late stage of the expansion I don't see the need for those sort of restrictions, especially as we aren't getting any new content for a long while.

Upping the drop on the RNG items is a good move - its a part of the chain that again you can't control but I also have very little need for the first 8 bosses in SoO now (even on my 2nd mainish alt) that its just becoming a drag. ToT is completely useless too and most ppl go in and half assed do the fights which isn't fair to the ppl who really need stuff from those raids. Granted claok questers are usually overgeared for the fights but im noticing alot of "you are only doing 50k kick them" peeps who expect everyone to do SoO dps 0.o

All these things actually start to put you off getting it and thats bad. It isn't even like they are hard things - just really annoying and out of your control. I want to start a third chain on a healer toon but the rng stuff really puts me off...hehe sorry if that was a rant!
