Loooooots of changes guys. Read up! If anyone can't read anything, I can post what it says.

Summary for hunter stuff is just a lot of rewording of abilities from what I'm reading here.

Looks like hunters are getting a Rylak-themed tier set, at least for normal and heroic (the new flex and and normal), Mythic (heroic before) will still get a different set.

Item - Hunter T17 Beast Mastery 2P Bonus Kill Command has a 25% chance to increase the size and damage of your pet by 10% for until cancelled.
Item - Hunter T17 Beast Mastery 4P Bonus While Bestial Wrath is active, one additional pet is summoned to fight with you.

Made my day :D

As usual, I was aware that SpiritBinder was designing a "rylak-stalker" concept set. That guy is psychic :)

The build is downloading sooo slooowly. Once available I'll go hunting through the files for anything beastly and new that I can find. Sadly, that's limited by the fact that the only tool currently available can only extract files that you already know the name of. So it's often a bit of a guessing game to find things that aren't already known and mostly we just have to wait for rich sites like Wowhead and MMO-C with their fancy programs to find them first.

Or maybe a way to add defensive beasts at our Garrinson *o* Would be nice :P

I wasn't impressed with the Druid mythic set until I saw those WINGS. I still don't want the set, but that's a new direction they're taking with armor- I've never seen them extend the shoulders (or chestpiece?) back that far, it looks fantastic! I hope to see them doing more with that.

I haven't seen the druid yet.

EDIT: Just saw it...EEEE! That looks AWESOME! I wouldn't care to have it personally but I appreciate how it looks! Wonder how the normal tier will look.

Bad news guys, the build turned out to be unstable and they've taken the realms down again, probably till June 23 :(

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic ... ?page=2#39

All I saw of it was the very start of the Shadowmoon quest chain. This build they switched off Horde /Frostfire so people could test the Alliance/Shadowmoon experience instead.

Unfortunately I was distracted getting the new elekk model extracted, but it kept crashing often and going offline regularly anyway. So I don't have a lot to share.

SMV seems dark and beautiful and very lush. A huge contrast to the starkness and whiteness of Frostfire (which was beautiful in its own way, just so different). I saw some brown wolves (not tameable) and loads of frogs (also not tameable), and also quite a few dire ravens of the new model. The latter were also not tameable, but they had been given diets. So we can always hope :)

Unfortunately that was as far as I got. I didn't even get my garrison running before it was taken down :(

BTW, garrisons seem like they'll be a lot of fun, and they also seem to have become quite central to the play experience. Building your garrison happens at the very start of the zone experience for both factions and you soon have a portal up and running, back to your capital. Beyond that I don't think they'll become a huge time-sink if you don't want them to be, but I could be wrong. But they do serve as a very handy central hub to launch certain gameplay aspects from. If you get into the beta, it's worth following the short storyline to get your garrison up and your portal built before you run off and frantically explore :)

I actually like them too, they just don't really match up with "hunter" to me. xD They'd make badass warrior shoulders, but- ...hunter?

True. I still think I'm bound to stay as my purple and red horror from the 70's

Lupis that was a great blog :) And I agree that the hunter set does look not only kind of piecemeal, but also not very fitting for a hunter. ...Unless that iris on the belt opens up and a death ray incinerates everything in a 100 yard cone.

It must be hard for them to come up with new ideas constantly, especially after this many years. I'm just not sure what the idea behind this one was meant to be, unless it's "Iron Horde cast-offs".

I'm wondering if they started using Iron Horde-style artwork way too early. We're already so used to it after Siege that it's no longer novel. In fact I'm already kind of over it and the expansion won't even begin for months. Surely there are plenty of other themes in the expansion that they could borrow from. How about River Beast Stalker, with accessorised crocolisk mount (tutu optional)?

Aye, I think they're probably struggling with making new ideas- especially with a class like Hunters, where... well, it's all in the name. What more can you do, really, beyond throwing some skulls and fur on them?

But then, look what they're doing with druids. Heck, look at warlocks- they don't have to have wildly new and different sets each time for people to love them. I feel like the hunter gear *could* be really interesting, if they just tried to make it look like what it is- hunter armor. Not refurbished warrior armor, but something a hunter would wear.

But- I haven't seen them release a hunter set like that since, well, Cataclysm at least. I'll be the first to admit I'll never get sick of skulls and bones, and I know some people are really sick of skulls and bones- but the new direction they're taking seems really off.

I really wish they could make Garrisons like WildStar did with the Housing, only better! I would love to "build" my Garrison up, while still having access to the NPCs, buildings, etc.
