So I saw these guys in Tanaan and just had to try and...



YES PRETTY WOLFY~

These guys are level 90 in the cave area (maybe about 20 mins or so into Tanaan?). Tamable, come in packs. "Void Wolf" Is the name. You can't see it, but it has a constant "waters reflection" sort of sheen to it, that constantly moves over the body.

Also these guys are in a phased area. If you're wanting one, you should pick it up as soon as you get to the area. From the looks of the phasing in the area, it doesn't look like you can go back to it.

Beautiful wolf. And there is no NDA for the beta. They posted they are good with us posting screenshots and videos of the beta. I just need to finish downloading it with my slow dsl. Nice find though.

Oh cool! Thanks for reporting that I haven't been there to see them myself yet. The only shots have made them look like they have no effects on them, but there are definitely image files for effects in their folder. It's good to know they are being used, but it might make sense to up the effects and make the model a little transparent. Currently they look rather over-saturated.

Honestly I kinda dig the over saturation, they look like they're made of shadows D:

And on another note, I saw a shaman in ghost wolf, that had the new wolf model. Does anyone know if it's a glyph, or they have changed it to the new model?
If nobody knows, I guess I'll have to make a shaman.

I believe its a new model. I didn't see any new glyphs. But I'll check on my shaman later today.

Also, forgot to add, these wolves seem to be phased. So if you're wanting one, I'd pick one up. I haven't seen another area yet with more of them.

They are amazing in person! I nabbed one yesterday and came here to post, only to see this post already here. hehe Note to those who go after them. Im a VERY busy area. you gotta be quick to nab one. and it may get killed in the process, they are quest mobs.

My boyfriend is a shaman. The really transparent one is the standard shaman wolf now no glyph. Theres is a spectral one too. that one requires a glyph

Although, on a disturbing note, I'm pretty sure this zone is the instanced one that boosted 90s start out in. I haven't gotten any farther than this yet so dunno if this model/skin has been used elsewhere...

It's open to any level 90's right now. I don't have a premade, so it was the same for me. This zone, from my understanding, will be part of the intro experience into Draenor.

I like this wolf better than any of the Pandaria rares as well.

Yea somewhere in the forums a blue mentioned that this is a stress test for the intro Draenor event Anyone can get to it
