Re: WoD new pet lists
Thanks I'll update these tomorrow.
I spent the evening exploring Ashran. Annoying people kept trying to PvP, for some reason. Nevertheless I think I got everything in the zone except maybe for some city NPC mobs and added the untameable ones to the other thread. The most interesting thing of note is an armoured white boar, but it's sadly not tameable (at the moment!)

Re: WoD new pet lists
Finished re-checking Shadowmoon, at least for everything that I could see / is on the list, and added all the relevant untameable ones to the bugs / no tames thread. For that no-tame list, I omitted any void wolves (there were more of them than I thought!) because it's obvious they're not meant to be tameable and Gara is our void wolf I did leave in all the dread ravens, and will continue to do so for now, until we're 100% sure none will become tameable. Since quite a few are classed as birds of prey I'd rather not delete them and have to add them back later.
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody has time, and wishes to help, if we could maybe focus on getting one zone checked and cleaned up at a time. I've started on Talador and got a fair bit done, but still plenty to check and I'm sure there are a lot of mobs that are missing from the list. If anyone could help to get that list completed it'd be MUCH appreciated Basically by trying to tame anything that doesn't have a date in its "Checked" column, and also checking the NPC ID and appearance against our list (when I checked yesterday, a few things in our lists had changed looks!)
Thanks very much

Finished re-checking Talador, at least as much as I could find.

Re: WoD new pet lists
Did a check of Blackfathom Deeps just now. Looks like a few beasts from there that were untameable in previous builds remain untameable:
Ghamoo-Ra: NPC ID#74446 (Hopefully he become tameable, as he uses an awesome unique model.)
Guardian of the Deep: NPC ID#74508 (Not sure if a unique model but still looks pretty cool.)
Also of Note:
Blue Shale Crawler: NPC ID#74509 (Mislabeled as a Humanoid, thus untameble.)
Aaaand....
A Ghamoo-Ra tamed before WoD keeps the old model and has the NPC ID #4887 on beta, which may or may not be of use or of any importance.

Re: WoD new pet lists
Also, that's clearly an Orange Shale Crawler. No wonder he is confused about his identity.
Re: WoD new pet lists
Here are a few from Gorgrond.
Everbloom Wilds (level 100 quest area)
Venomous Ravager level 100 (86263) tameable. Yellow new-style ravager.
Everbloom Wasp level 100 (86264) tameable, but glitched. When tamed, it's a ravager! Yellow wasp. I'll post this in the glitch thread also.
Steamburst Cauldron (level 93 area)
Riplash level 94 (87084) not tameable. Blue new raptor.
Probably unlikely to become tameable, he is a quest mob for the garrison stable mount training.
Rooter's Pass
Rocktusk Patriarch 100 (88508) tameable. Large grey draenor boar.
The Pit
Young Rocktusk 92 (86850) tameable. Small brown draenor boar.
(It seems like all the beasts for the capture quests for the garrison stable building are tameable, I'll have to check this further. This is one, as is the young silverpelt in shadowmoon.)

Re: WoD new pet lists
That's rather curious. Perhaps some of the coding used for these capture quests shares some of the coding used for tameable beasts.Eaglesong wrote:(It seems like all the beasts for the capture quests for the garrison stable building are tameable, I'll have to check this further. Re: WoD new pet lists
Actually this is very much of use and importance. At leas to me it is. I tamed him on live to see if he would change over to the new skin or not. This confirms that so far he doesn't. That was not know before. At least not to my knowledge. I'd been watching to see if anyone had posted on it and so far you're the first.Ickabob wrote:A Ghamoo-Ra tamed before WoD keeps the old model and has the NPC ID #4887 on beta, which may or may not be of use or of any importance.
This makes me happy but yet bummed out though to finally have the answer.

Not sure if it has been marked yet, but the neutral Frost wolves in FFR are now able to be tamed.
The frozen wolves are still not tamable, but the worms are.

Re: WoD new pet lists
Thanks for those reports guys!
I've updated the Gorgrond ones and the Forst Wolf but will get around to adding a BFD table later.

Sorry, didn't see this till I'd already posted on the other thread. I headed straight to her when I logged on, too

Re: WoD new pet lists
I'm happy to report that it looks like all the problem mobs from Blackfathom Deeps are properly labeled and tameable, including Ghamoo-Ra!

Re: WoD new pet lists
A suggestion/question for you, Wain: have you considered adding a list of the old too-high-level (or untameable-but-now-tameable) Pandaren mobs that are now tameable here?
Or is that list elsewhere and I've forgotten?

I should add them here!Kurasu wrote:A suggestion/question for you, Wain: have you considered adding a list of the old too-high-level (or untameable-but-now-tameable) Pandaren mobs that are now tameable here?

I had them over on this list: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... 7#existing
But you're right, they would be better here. Plus we can include other ones that could be flagged but currently aren't.

Sorry to make more work for you! I was thinking of it while sitting on Kalan'ii's head, wondering if he was a unique color.
Come see Kurasu's stables!

Re: WoD new pet lists
Tura'aka (NPC ID #83591), a rare (vignette) armored Rylak found in Nagrand still isn't tameable.
I've got the feeling that they don't want us to have armored Rylaks.

I've been checking Dread Ravens and haven't found a tameable one, do you know if there's a specific mob somewhere?Praedator wrote:Dread ravens are now tameable as carrion birds.
