Question, how does the size of the hunter pet compare to one in the wild? Can you position your tamed one near a wild one and shoot a screenshot?

Awesome I like them being on the bigger side! It suites them!

Tamed version of the Twilight Riverbeast is level 92, tho that probably doesn't affect the scaling MUCH, unlike going 10-90 with cranes (which is still my favourite thing ever btw).

I really don't like big/wide pets (as much as I want to like my Omen/Chromaggus I just... can't. I really want a sleeker corehound :() but for some reason I really like the riverbeast? I mean, I probably won't use him often unless he ends up providing a buff that doesn't have a model I really like that can also provide it (e.g. I would currently use him as non-BM if he stays with +stats because I don't like any of the dog or gorilla models, but if he got like... haste and had to compete with my sporebat? forget it :P) but it's just really weird to me that he's still big and bulky and gets in the way but I still really like him :?

Holy crap. They're huge! I'm kind of curious as to what they sound like. >.> Once my Beta download finishes, I'll be hunting one down.

That's a great idea! I'm sure that people who don't like big pets would be thankful for it. We already have those options with Water Striders and Worms, so why not Riverbeasts too?

Yup because both draenor hippos and pandarian beavers live at the river, have beaver tail and deadly teeth!
