Odd thing that happened when taming

I was in Talador and was attacked by one of the riverbeasts and two young riverbeasts. I thought they were adorable, and when I used beast lore on them I saw they were tamable. I dismissed my pet and tamed one of the young ones, only it grew into a giant roughly 4 or 5 times larger than it's original size, as you can see by the attached pic. Unfortunately since it is so large I can't quest with it because it takes up far too much of my screen and tends to stand half on top of me at all times.

It would be fine if I could actually see what was in front of me, like enemies, but unfortunately it's just way too big.
And yup, I mean original size was adorable, look at that derpy face (hence the name Bubba) but as huge as it got when I tamed it...
