Is WoD being released in September?
Or do you have to log in every single day from now until the 30th of September to have access to the mount when WoD finally is released?
Or do you have to remain logged in between now and September 30th?

I think you just have to log once (i.e. active players) and sept is the anniversary isn't it?? Hmm no idea!

Yeah, the actual wording is:

Anyone who logs in to the game between now and September 30, 2014 will automatically have their account flagged to receive the Horde chopper upon the release of the upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion. Everyone can (and should!) claim their chopper by logging in now, but as a reminder, only your Horde characters will be able to mount up and take it for a ride.

I dint know if anyone has seen the Azeroth Choppers videos, but if they have this may be why it's being released. I was actually told about this new chopper in the doctors earlier I'm not sure, but didn't the Horde team win? If so, it could be to celebrate this. I'm still miffed for those who're on the alliance side and can't ride it. I'm sure they'll add a fancy one for the alliance at a later date *shrug* either way! imma go log on now if you don't mind
Edit--the reason it's the horde chopper is because of the votes, now I've looked into it. The two teams built a chopper and the horde got the most votes, thus the horde chopper was made a mount in game. I'm glad too, those horns are pretty cool. My hunter isn't one for mechanical mounts, but no doubt she'll make use of this. It was a contest, and only one could win. I had no idea it was a contest myself, but oh well.

I get why people are annoyed, but I doubt they'll change their minds, unless people quit over this. I certainly hope no one gets too annoyed that they actually quit :/

Huh. I wonder if they'll give the Alliance anything cool to compensate for later. Otherwise, kind of a jerk move on blizz's part. Gonna cause a loooooot of QQ

i love having 2 servers 1 horde the other alliance. i know ill get bored of alliance ill move to horde again lol. blizz could atleast show it in your account settings saying its flagged or something - i get paranoid with things like these. XD

Due to popular demand (and a few shady back-alley deals in Stormwind’s Old Town), the Alliance bike built for Azeroth Choppers will be rumbling its way to a vendor in Azeroth sometime after the launch of Warlords of Draenor. This mount will cost a pretty hefty sum of gold, however, so you might want to start saving up now if you want to ride around in style on this masterful machine. As a reminder, once the winning Horde Chopper is added to the game, it will be available for free to players who log in between now and September 30, 2014.
