A few pet families got new icons in WoD:
Basilisks: Now has a proper icon...an azeroth basilisk head.
Dogs: Now a mastiff head
Shale Spiders: Now the green model's face
Cranes: Now an unarmored Chi-ji colored crane head
Monkeys: Now a monkey face
Direhorns: Now a right facing blue direhorn with no riding harness straps
and Goat: Now a side facing brown goat.

Didn't they say they were going to try a loooong time ago? Back when they updating some the first time with pre-existing icons that Wain suggested, and they said they were going to ask to get some custom icons made for them in the next expansion (being WoD)?
