Blizz is applying a new build tonight and it WILL wipe all chars.

Damn; excited for the new build but I've got to say I'm pretty discouraged having to quest to 96 again. Did so much with the garrison too. But beta is beta.

That's it, I'm done with the beta if my characters get wiped again.

At this rate I'll be so bored with the leveling that I won't even want to do it in the release. I don't want that to happen since questing and leveling are my favorite parts of the game so I'll be leaving the Beta (not the actual game) if my toons get wiped again. I've seen enough to know that WoD will be awesome. I don't want to spoil that impression.

I would never take part in the raid testing since I absolutely do not want to see that before it goes live.

I'll most likely also be deleting my option to take part in any more betas as well. I was in the MoP one too and it kind of ruined the live experience for me.

This is both good and exhausting.
Good, because Beta Mia got stuck as a ghost in an area where her corpse vanished and there's no spirit rez.
Exhausting, because man there are a lot of quests, and so far I don't... really think many of them are fun enough to do over and over.

^This is why, even though I have received a beta invite, I decided not to sign in to it (well that and my computer's age has me worried about running it safely).

When I did the Pandaria beta, I enjoyed it a great deal-though by the time I joined it had been ongoing for a bit, and only found bugs that were already reported. Had fun doing the Pandaria beta, but it made questing in Pandaria when released a bit boring, as I had already done so many of them already.

Do they not have any premade to 100s?

i remember doing beta in Wrath, and all I did was run around exploring zones cause i knew if i quested then i might be over it by the time it hit live

THANK THE GODS cuz man that was irking me.

Er, that said Dismiss Pet is no longer an actual ability. You can right click your pet's portrait to dismiss them (and it still has the cast time), but you can't put it on a hotkey or anything. Gonna go report that as a bug now since I doubt that's intentional, haha.

Also, the world server for Gilneas & Lost Isles is down on both leveling realms so I can't go check on that last stag for the pets thread :( sadface!

Edit: Apparently it's only premade hunters who don't have a Dismiss Pet ability. My copied version of Basanti can dismiss her pet through her hotkey or her spellbook. Not sure about fresh hunters since I don't really care to level TWO separate hunters to level ten, and I'm gonna do a worgen one if and when Gilneas ever becomes playable again lol
