Thought I'd show some of the new transformations you can get/do in WOD for those that are not in beta or have not seen them yet - post only ones that you can get from items that stay in your inventory if you can -

- Bloodmane Charm (sold by trader when you pick corresponding building in Spires - rare?)


- Iron Buccaneer's Hat (drop from rare on ship in Nagrand)


- Ancient's Bloom (drops from rare in Shadowmoon - north of Gara)


- Blazing Wings (Darkmoon Faire: go through 50 rings)
and
- Ring of Broken Promises (drop from elite in cave Darkmoon Faire island)


- Treessassin's Guise (received from doing ancients quest for lumbermill)


- Klikixx's Webspinner (dropped from Klikixx, rare spider habiting cave in Talador near Sunsworn Camp)

That's it, I'm not doing anything in WoD until I get the Ring of Broken Promises.

I've wanted to be a super edgy blood elf for a long time since they first showed up in BC.

Thanks for this list. Those are awesome Not sure if my favourite so far is the saberon or the little tree guy.

wait.. I see a skeletal Wind Serpent... does the hunter's pet also get transformed? or is that one of my pet taming dreams come true and we can actually tame a bony wind serpent?

Sukurachi, there's a skeletal wind serpent found in Spires of Arak in an early quest chain. It's a common mob with multiple spawns. The model WAS a white classic wind serpent, but the recent builds changed it to a skeleton.

This. I need these as a playable race. Horde side or neutral would be nice. I'd like to run around as part viscous animal, and not be alliance. Or Tauren (do excuse me). Well. My two playable races I'd love would have to be these and mantid. Mantid, I could see being added easily. Not that easily, but it'd be simple enough.

These Saberon, I'd need to know their lore, but surely adding these and mantid as a race wouldn't be too hard. I think it's the armour behind it actually :/ it'd sit on the models weirdly, as far as I'm aware.

Its a rare/vignette tiger in Talador named Ra'khan...unless the quest target tiger uses that model too.

Other tigers in the area are greyish white with those stripes.

On Topic: There is a quest that allows you to be a goren...not sure if a permanent method exists

The tiger skin is also used by Elder Prowlers also - white one is normal ridge prowlers and their cubs. Elders are usually higher up on the hills. The tigers are in Talador. Elders might be restricted to a couple areas - one being south of Shattrath, NE of Auchindoun.

I have not seen the quest yet - only thing I can think is it is Alliance only or part of Gorand quests for the building that is not the lumbermill (I've always selected the lumbermill). Not sure if there is an item from that or not - I kind of remember a post in beta forums talking about it - but I don't remember if they were asking for a permanent item or that there was an item and they wanted it to be a longer duration / shorter cooldown. Forums were wiped since so I can't search for the post for more clarity :/

To get it, you must choose the Sparring Arena for your Gorgrond outpost. One quest you get afterward is to meet an orc named Bony Xuk...one quest in his chain makes you a Goren.

Bloodmane is technically obtainable as playable....it's the druid's Lion werecat form.
