Question about The Lone Hunter

I have the Lone hunter... I tamed them using the method that you kill them right as you tamed them. Anyways I am wanting to do a server transfer and faction transfer on the hunter who has them.... but I am wondering if anyone knows if they will lose the sword.

I don't believe this has been tested by anyone to be honest. I would think it would be find since the characters core numbers stay the same. If that makes sense.
Proceed with caution though. If you lose him /her it may be a pain in rear to get him /her back.

The question has come up quite a few times (over the years), The answer has been that is IS safe to transfer with appearance buff pets.

Awesome Lone Hunter aka Scabbard has kept his sword during faction and server transfer. Confirmed as of 08/26/2014
