Thanks! I hope they just looked over this since Chrommagus allows you to continue to the final boss after taming.

If this happens, try leaving and resetting the instance(s). See if it either A) brings Chimaeron back to be killed, or B) reads 'He's dead' and unlocks the door.

I'm not saying it'll help. Just a suggestion to see if it fixes the problem!
