Wha? The Time-Lost Proto Drake, found dead, in the Time-Lost Glade? I wonder if it's a perma-dead NPC addition or maybe someone killed it there or..?

It could be quest related. I mean there is that bronze dragon badguy there too.

hmm I don't know. Its nameplate is red which would indicate that you could loot it but the person taking the screen shots doesn't look to have tagged it. if someone had killed it it would be gray but i'm pretty sure permanently dead npcs usually have the red plate on their portraits right?
considering its in or near a zone called time-lost glade it could just be decoration showing that various npcs have gotten lost in time and met an ill fate. this is probably the case since the body is level 80 instead of 100. I guess the story behind the time-lost proto is that it lived in northrend but got lost in time and ended up here where it met an ill fate. so i guess when we kill it in northrend it was an alternate (rare) outcome where it had just managed to get back home.

If it has been added and the info we have is that rares are shared tags etc then its possible. Its beta so the red name plate could be a glitch too you never know.

Do we know for certain that it's ever alive, and it's not just a cosmetic corpse?

I'm not seeing a new ID with that name, so unless it hasn't hit the databases yet, then the NPC must be using the old one. So if it's ever alive then it should drop the mount.

Based on an older post on mmo champion there will be 7 of them scattered around draenor and each with their own respawn and 100% drop rate, maybe finally ill see the damn drake I've literally never seen him... YouTube or a picture that someone else has taken is not seeing them :p you have to be there in the flesh.

Thing about that is, Blizz was referring to seven creatures in Draenor that, like TLPD, drop mounts every time...not 7 new TLPD himself.

Well yeah I'm on the page for it so I know its the same skin but still I've never seen it so now there's hope.

OH NVM I read that wrong lol I just woke up and I stayed up till like 4am last night despite not been sleepy at all I was definitely sleepy this morning.

Well shit I guess... Won't be seeing him ever probably since its been how many years and I've leveled so many characters in that zone, how on earth has my friend seen it 6 times ill never know.

Time-Lost would fit the theme of the xpac. I thought when they said that 7 TLPD would be scattered, they were talking about rare mobs that drop mounts (and theres 7 mounts in journal that are drops which seemed to confirm this theory), not literally 7 additional TLPD spawns lol but hey if more people can get them, great!

One will be the "Time-Wasted Proto-Drake", another the "That's-A-Month-Of-My-Life-I'll-Never-Get-Back Protodrake" and then there's the "Wait-When-Did-My-Spouse-Leave-Me? Proto-Drake".

It still seems weird that there would be ANY in Draenor at all, unless Warlord 'I'm so hot for Garrosh' Zaela brought them there. Or maybe Kairoz.

^this could work...i'd love a decent shot at a time-lost mount anyway. I've never ever seen the TLPD in all my years of playing and looking

I got lucky back in WOTLK and flew past him on a taxi

But my mount luck dried up after that XD
