Probably not, but I did notice on the official site that the pvp mounts you can now buy with honor points are missing. Its more than likely its because of the change from the badges to the points to purchase them that they haven't gotten around to updating it yet. Or maybe they are preparing the site to add the new race mounts. So what do you guys think? Would you support them if they were to retire all the old pvp mounts for new ones or got rid of them all together?

Better get them now if this is the case.

I wouldn't object to the removal of them. PvP is barbaric.

I'd be happy if they replace them with a new set of mounts. I've got 'em all, but of course, there are loads of people out there who haven't got round to getting them yet.

I don't think they're doing a drastic change to PvP for Cata, but when they did change PvP (i.e got rid of the ranking system), they kept the mounts, which a lot of people found unfair (since you had to be the top level to get the mounts before that, I think). So if they were going to take them out, I think it would've been better in the past update, then in Cata. =)

Aw, I wouldn't be happy. I'd love to get all the mounts but I'm such a bad PvPer I'm not even close yet. I only have the Black War Ram.

Don't be sad, Velkyn. You gotta' shake the dwarves pretty much before they give it to you. It's a hard mount to aquire.

I fail hard at pvp too, but since my main is a healer i get stonekeepers shards like crazy. Don't forget you can use those to buy those account bound honor points from wintergrasp and after many many dungeons its mounts for everyone!

At one time I remember when the PvP mounts were a big deal. Having one said I spent this much tine in BGs to get enough tokens to get this mount. (Unless you were just after the Frost Wolfhowler when it just needed 50 AV marks and that said, I did AV just to get this free wolf mount and save some gold. XD )
Now the mounts are just good for if you're going after the Albino Proto Drake.

Not even, you can get the Albino easily without dipping into pvp mounts. Though they are kinda vital for the 100-mount Dragonhawk.

If this is the case... I better go get some of those WG heirloom marks to give my Warlock some honor to get either the Black War Wolf, Skeletal Horse and my Druid the chicken. (Although I usually get all my toons the Frost Wolf.)

I don't think they're taking the PvP mounts out entirely. If they'd did, there'd be a QQ-storm along the proportions of Noah's flood from those who prefer PvP to PvE about how much Blizzard hates them and is taking "their" mounts away. They may just be updating the change or redesigning the page to allow for the new mounts from Cataclysm. Besides, the removal of the PvP mounts is a specifically "big" enough thing I think they would have announced it already to give those who want them the time to get them if they were going to do such a thing.

Why would they take them away? if they did there would be no Black gobbo( no not those warhammer ones silly ) or worgen mounts.
