They're amazing! The cinematic team can be very proud of themselves. And yeah, another positive about the new models!
Loved the Talador one especially.

Exactly..and now I take back how I felt about Thrall taking out Garrosh. Garrosh was still the whiny bastard we knew in Nagrand.....and blamed Thrall for everything. Thrall realized Garrosh is to blame for his own damn actions.

I'll watch more of 'em later, but I can say for now that I'm going to have ISSUES with how Garrosh is being written this entire expac. So much potential... So much completely missed potential.
Anyway. That's for another day. Ignore me!

I loved them! They've done a really brilliant job with what is for the most part just the game engine and some extra effects and they've made it beautifully dramatic. My favourite was probably Durotan and Yrel working together.
I don't mind how they handled Garrosh. I believe he's had his day and this expansion isn't about him. I'm actually glad it isn't. Recurring villains just get a bit tired after a few seasons. I did like how the battle between he and Thrall was handled. I still hold a lot of blame for Thrall, though. He knew what Garrosh was like before he made him Warchief. He could have chosen amongst many talented and established rulers of the Horde and yet he put a known belligerent xenophobe, with no leadership experience, in charge. It'd be like putting a mass murderer in charge of a retirement home and accepting no blame for the result, because they made "their own choices". He didn't make Garrosh, but he should take blame for the destruction and death and torture that occurred as a result.

I think as a whole Garrosh was a wasted character. How they handled him was pretty crappy when it came to his story. sad really I always liked him as a character.

I'm a bit rusty on my Draenei lore, but that forehead symbol he passed to Yrel, was that like "passing the crown" of leadership or power? Made me wonder if Yrel is the new faction leader for Draenei in this alternate timeline.

I was wondering both of these myself. But still. I choked up at his ................... "passing the crown". I was going to say sacrifice but that just makes me all sad again.
And
F&*k yeah Thrall!!!!
Forgot to add that to my first post.
But still. I needs to know about Velen. I think for my own happiness he unified with the Naaru. Yes. That's how I will hold it. But still.

I wrote this post then accidentally exited out I'm so angry
Only saw Nagrand one--
tl;dr Thrall was stupid and made a bad call in putting Garrosh in charge when Garrosh lacked the personality or willingness to lead. This lead to the Horde turning on him (Sylvanas completely disobeying his orders, Cairne openly challenging him to a duel, Vol'jin making death threats, etc.) and as a result he turned to the one thing he could trust--war.
He tried to do what was best for the Horde, it didn't work, he's getting punished because he was left all on his own in a job he didn't want with a faction who hated him. Is it any surprise he was in a bad spot? And then he gets written off in a stupid and still anti-climactic way, making him seem like a whiny baby, with Green Jesus once again proving to be an obnoxious mary sue taking the lead in Orclords of Draenorc.
I hate what they did with Garrosh, he could have been written so much better. Blizz had no idea what they were doing and everything seems like a cop out and basically why do I play WoW for lore anymore screw this I'm gonna play for shiny loot and dragons.

I am going to have to disagree with this statement. I do believe Thrall made a misguided decision when he placed Garrosh in his stead. That fact is undisputable in my opinion. However, Garrosh from the get-go demonstrated a distrust and prejudice of anyone that wasn't Orc or who dared to see things differently. This is what provoked the other faction leader's hatred. Garrosh had an opportunity to use his time in power to serve the people's greater interest but instead all he did was indulge his own selfish motives for bloodlust and conquest. Garrosh wasn't alone either. He had counsel but chose to ignore their advice and wisdom. Garrosh may have not wanted the power at first but when he had it he abused it to its fullest extent. Plain and simple.
