Yep, you read that right. I need a pug fugly butt ugly hunter pet. Something that'd be easily tameable on a horde hunter. Before people start reaching for the torches and pitchforks, it's for a specific concept of a belf hunter I've recently made. I've got the pretty pet in the dragonhawk that he started with, now I need the ugly pet that's gonna be in his number two slot. So, suggestions on something hideously ugly and easy to tame around the 18-20ish level range are appreciated.

My suggestion would by hyena.

I'd say maybe a bat or a crab ?

Any of the diseased pets would suit this purpose. I'm also going to suggest any of the demon hounds or nether rays. I didn't check the level ranges of these beasts but I hope there's at least one you could use for your BElf's stable.

*gasps dramatically* Niabi! Diseased pets are gorgeous! *hugs Felrius* isn't that righ-that smell certainly isn't right that's just gross! Now I've got pus all over me ew!

Perhaps a bear that's diseased? They've got nasty grins and are all icky. Crabs and netherays could fit the bill. Demon dogs, certain corehound skins. Those that don't look so loveable and fluffy really.

Any diseased pets, especially the bears.

Shame you can't still get the maggots. The damaged silithids are pretty odd looking, if you don't mind being BM.

Wait for WoD and get a Rylak.

Tame a gorilla or a vanilla turtle xD

I don't think Nether-Rays and Crabs deserve being in the "fugly butt ugly" category

I'd go with the diseased pets, gorillas, or maybe bats.

Obviously this is up to personal preference, but to me those pets are the least appealing/have the most dated-looking models.

No pet is uglier then my pet Fugly - he is a ravager lol.

jormungar If from the 70-80 level range those worms are one of the ugliest things in wow cool,but damn creepy and ugly things.

While I don't exactly disagree with some of your suggestions fellow petopians.
The OP is asking for levle 20:ish tames though.

Things like these are very subjective, OP mentions having a dragonhawk as a pretty pet. I personally find nothing even remotly appeling about them, so finding a pet that is universally considered ugly might be difficult.

For luls I'd suggest Mazzranache, the pink tallstrider found in Mulgore.

Another vote here for diseased bears. That's the one skin that really gives me the heebie jeebies, and nearly all the colors are available by level 20.

At a much higher level I'd go for a silithid colossi with damaged shell. Those are pretty gross IMO.

You can't get the black or different color till level 31 or 32.

Vultures (carrion birds). They're ugly in at least two ways. A low poly count and vultures are gross in RL. And when you get higher in level, there's two headed vultures, which is just grotesque. If you want a gross pet with decent art, there's condor model birds of prey. Corpsefeeder is a rare condor in your level range, in Silverpine Forest. Otherwise for a condor at your level, you have to head to Loch Modan or Redridge.

Or Fel Boars are pretty out there. I don't think any pets are really ugly...i like diseased pets myself but I guess they would fit. Maybe spiders too?

Thanks all for the suggestions. I decided to go tame Hibernus the Sleeper in Tirisfal Glades once I hit 18. It works for my 'ugly' pet for now. Also gives me a decent 'emergency tank' to use in random dungeons, since I've been seeing a sudden bunch of Fury Warriors and Ret Pallies who mistakenly think they can tank. Lost count of how many times I've had to tell n00bs that the specs they picked don't have the necessary abilities to make a good tank.
