So really a year ago I started looking for Aotona... Ive only seen her once about... 10 months ago... she was like this So yea... I was mad... Other then that I looked everyonce and a while, still keeping up with my collection of rares, When Skoll came around I tamed him after 2 month of his release, My friend got her Aotona the next day... Still looking for her I got bored of Wow and stopped playing Dec-April. At the start of May I starting to play again (and there was much rejoice) The next week I find my tanking Spirit Beast Arcturis... Still nothing from Aotona... I was getting really frustrated, its been a year since I started looking for her and all I found was her dead...

As I finished washing dishes I remembered that I logged out right on top of one of her spawn point, I thought their is no way she will appear... I was wrong she was right under me. when I logged on I saw a blue wing and almost screamed... I named her Aoi which I think means "Blue" in Japanese...

I was sooooooooooooooo happy I finally found her! now my stables are just what I wanted them to be! I will never change my stables till Cata... which I will be sad to do...

big grats! remends me how i captured mine:) i was in sholazar asking in general if someone seen her, a jerk mage started bugging me that he's gonna look for her and kill her, right after i put him on ignore she appeared right under me:p

isn't it amazing how that is always the case? things dont seem to spawn for you when your camping but when you pop back to check, they seem to be right under you lol.

Haha that's how it goes. I don't know how many times friends have tamed Loque... I still haven't seen him in the wild. I've been looking for him since I hit 76 back in... November 2008 I think? I camped the Basin for three months straight, then had periods where I spent an inordinate amount of time there, but still nothing. I figure I'll get him like you got Aotona. One day when I figure he can't possibly be there...

O.o Ive seen Loqu twice... and once on the PTR XD but I have'nt seen him since

I had told my friend that out of all the birds in the game,there was only one I really wanted...The Giant Parrot of Death,Aotoona!!

So you can imagine my surprise when we were farming in the Basin and flying in to vendor and repair when she starts yelling at me in chat "OMG! THERE SHE IS!! DOWN! DOWN!! GET HER!!" I,of course,saw nothing....but landed anyway...right in front of her!! "Gulp!"

So,abandon my temp pet (cant remember what it was..lol...hmmm),and viola! Aotoona was mine!! Woot woot!

That was three weeks ago,and I love her to pieces!! She's only 76 now,as I want to take my time leveling her,but she will be 80 someday...lol!

Grats on the tame,and enjoy her...by far the prettiest pet in the game EVAH!!
