Something very subtle and a little unexpected I just noticed. The new purple crab, "Guardian of the Deep", in BFD is actually so very slightly different to the existing purple Luminescent Crawler from the Isle of Thunder.

The portraits are slightly different. Open the following two links in separate tabs and flick back and forth to see:

The markings on the Luminescent Crawler are noticeably paler.

On the actual crabs this is harder to appreciate:

The Guardian markings seem to be a slightly stronger pink.

I assume in practice one of them has two purple markings skins while the other only has one.

Anyway, they're effectively the same look, barring tiny differences. I just thought it was interesting

That's my guess. I haven't searched through the database yet, but I expect I'll see an appearance assigned that has two biolucent purple skins. It also makes me now wonder if things like red/red are going to look different to a single red. I doubt we'd go as far as making them separate looks on Petopia, but it's interesting
