If anyone sees this beauty up on there server and don't want the tame yourself, could you throw me a CRZ invite so I can nab him? Been camping since servers came up aside from 30 mins for the new quests and no luck + lots of competition. My battletag is Infernalent#1458 should you have better luck than I, he's in the pool right outside wailing caverns instance gate for those unsure of location. Thanks in advance!

ugh nearly 12 hours no spawn still, is this mob bugged?

I wouldn't worry about it being bugged. It just has an obscenely long respawn timer. On the beta it took me days to find it, and that was before most people were even aware of hydras being tameable and in an area where nobody on beta would normally go!

So, yeah, it could possibly be the most painful camp of any unique skin in the game, sorry

i sat my hunter down in that spot last night 19/2/15 - today 20/2/15 @ Frostmourne 10:49am - he was up! noone was in there camping for him, snagged him right away

this rare has a 24 hours respawn, the respawn can be reseted by restarts and maintenance. i know this from experience, and had to make sure of that by camping it on 5 different occasions, 2 of them were tame by me (ally ad horde accordingly) the other 2 by one of my friends and her friend, and the last one didnt poped because of a restart, all i have to say is that the only way you are getting this one is by either having a full day for yourself or with luck, having a daily check out, i would suggest the early mornings, Good Luck!

I'm sorry but this isn't exactly true. Spawn timers seem to vary between servers. I have friends on different servers that have CONFIRMED 12 -36 hour spawn timers on Trigore. These are friends who camped him without taking breaks etc and have screen shot proof between spawns. I myself on my troll huntress camped him at 30+ hours.
