I originally had my heart set on the undead Stag for Tårnfalk but then i fell in love with Grace








and i always wanted this hydra.. .not sure Snaps stays... he looks different than i thought he would








so which onces have you tamed ?

The group was very willing to give me a chance to tame and I thank them for that.

Here are my three!



First off, Skrull. I just tamed him on whim while heading out to get myself a Talbuk. The talbuk didn't make the cut, but Skrull is now one of my favorite pets ever. He looks so soft, and with his special ability he's a wicked tank! (And those red and brown colors, so much love.)



Second, this... wolf... here! No name yet, but gods, what a pain it was to get him. First dungeon run was a flop because all the wolves were dead before I got in. Thirty minutes of queue later, all the wolves were grey or black. Thirty more minutes and all grey wolves. Took four runs to encounter a brown one!



Lastly, I tamed Chimaeron almost purely for kicks. Who knows if he'll stick around- I'm not a huge fan of their animations, but he's an interesting beast to be sure!

Caesar, my brown talbuk. I still haven't decided on a Stag model, but when I do, he'll be called Julius (currently have the brown Pandaria stag).

So far I have only one tame although I have a few more planned on other hunters. I'll get around to them eventually - several weeks of the patch left, after all!
But here is the very first pet to come home: Dolabella.

I'll show mine again here. The purple one is the one from the Horde quest.


I really can't decide which one I like best.

I didn't tame a stag or clefthoof because none of them really fit my hunter; I'm waiting for one of the saddled clefthooves on Draenor and the brown Draenor Talbuk

That being said I did pick up my new wolf and hydras. (Is there any way to remove the hydras sound? They do it SO MUCH.)





I also tamed a black and green hydra.. but I'll still probably use the WoD hydras more, I'm obsessed with their model.

My most wanted pet this patch. I want one of every color once WoD launches!

Now I am so excited about this boy I cannot even think of a name. O_O

My only tame so far since most of what I want won't come about till the expansion hits, but just now, I finally got my most wanted hydra!

Meet Vanu!



I know I could've just gotten the purple hydra from the Horde quest, but the rare Gesharahan is super special to me, and after the crazy week I've had, seeing him spawn right before my eyes is a moment I'll never forget.

Lockjaw lives up to his name. He's a killer, and was among the few wolves the Iron Horde brought with them. He certainly was merciless, eagerly turning on his previous owners in battle at my word.

"The Timber Wolves of Draenor may not be as aggressive as their other cousins, but what they lack in power they make up for in intelligence."
Koda, named after my dead dog who looked very similar, was also brought from Draenor to Azeroth by the Iron Horde, and was the first of the wolves I tamed. He readily turned against his previous masters, just like Lockjaw, and I'm glad he's on my side.

"These wolves are the result of a Garn mating with a Frostwolf, and as a consequnce of that, are merciless killers and cunning foes. Many argue that these Steelpaw wolves are even more of a terrifying predator than the Garn themselves."
Mystic here was the last to join me, and holds a great respect for the spirits. He's the most talkative of the bunch, unless you count Lockjaw's growls all the time, and while he's the smallest one, he doesn't give his opponent the time to make that observation before he's at their throat.


This here is Poncho. Silly name, silly stag. I didn't actually want to tame a stag, but in one thread I was taking the mickey out their expressions, and came up with the idea of a nature-loving, complete wuss and loveable stag named Poncho. He was my first tame of the patch, and in URBS was the only reason we didn't wipe. I tried with Koda and we failed. While I had no idea what versatility was (and still don't know) that 3% increase made all the difference and proves that while he may look dopey and stupid, Poncho won't hesitate to defend his mummy.

Lupen you can uncheck pet sounds in your system sound menu. I tamed my hydra and turned off pet sounds about thirty seconds later. it only turns off their idle sounds, not their in combat sounds.

I managed to nab Trigore the Lasher after quite a few hours in the Wailing Caverns. Had my eye on this fellow since I first saw it as a WoW noob - and that was the only time I'd seen it in-game. Until I found it again, that is.

I call it a her now, and I felt like Bermuda was an appropriate, feminine name, with her three heads and all the mystery surrounding her spawn timing. It seems to almost be comparable to the Time-Lost Proto-Drake or similar creatures!

She's talkative, but I don't mind it. She's definitely crossing that portal with me.

I tamed a few pets on Findu.

First one is Harry (yes the Harry Potter reference is intended)


Since dogs now finally have some useful ability I went out to retame my dog Flaps. He seems quite happy to be back


I saw someone with the new wolf model and found out you could tame the ones from the blackrock dungeon. Happy Findu is happy!


Last one is Ylva. Not sure if she stays. I have my mind set on the spectral one and still wait for the right oracle daily to be up. But Ylva has already found a way into my heart so I might keep her too.

I got my WoW account fired back up so of course I had to go play on my hunter and nab a couple of new pets. The fiance insisted that I get some Game of Thrones themed pets what with the new editions so that's what I've gotten started on.

We have Baratheon.

I have to go through my stables and figure out the rest.

Then I got Banthar for fun because clefthoof.
