Wod version of worgs are tameable in the 90 ubrs dungeon. looks like http://www.wow-petopia.com/look/wolfdraenorbrown.html but it looks a tad darker then the one in the pic, tho i could be colour blind and be the same colour as that

There's three colors of wolf. Black, Brown, and Grey. I got the Grey one in a run earlier, and I've seen people with the Black one.

All the unarmored colors except Frost Wolf are available right now, but I rarely see them. Moreso Hydras.

Is everyone sure there are black and white ones? Or are they in there (randomized obviously) and just really rare? Because I need a black one... :/

And with a 40 min wait time for the blasted queue, this is very very aggravating.

Use Distracting Shot to snipe a wolf over to you and be ready to tame right away. Generally you can have the wolf tamed before they taunt it back.

Nope not happening with the druid I just had as a tank as soon as I distracted and trapped they yanked it back within seconds.

Trying one more time for the night-gah I am already way past my bedtime-before I give up for the night.

This 40-min queue is stupid ridiculous. Maybe it will be better during the day.

Don't bother with a trap, just tame it. Also use the glyph to make the cast faster, and just cross your fingers.

These wolves turned out to be my favorite tame of this patch launch. They have some really interesting assortment of idle sounds (or at least the brown one does, I don't know about all of them for sure, but I imagine they do). Mine has at least 2 different growls he uses, he makes a whine kind of sound, sniffs, I don't know if he actually howls. He usually does the howl animation, but I don't think I've heard it yet.

It's pretty cool, but the sounds could be possibly annoying to some people. I didn't notice these sounds on the wolves I tamed in beta on Draenor, not sure if they're specific to these dungeon ones or if the sounds were added in a later beta patch, not sure. But thought I'd mention it here.

I like the noises, personally. They are very un-irritating like some others pets and they just sound cute to me.

when the dung starts i just go camo *glyphed* cheetah and go straight for the wolfs and ignoring the mobs, hit deterance and tame. once tamed i fein death and wait for the grp to catch up.

Saw one of these the other day. Came here and couldn't find out where the guy picked it up.

Asked him and he told me that a GM let him bring it back from the Beta. I didn't think it was true but just kinda left it alone.

Saw a different guy on a different realm with one tonight. Asked him and he wouldn't tell me either. Came back here to see what the 'secret' was and found this thread. *Shakes head* Not really sure why some people are jerks about it. It's not like having it for a few weeks before someone else makes them feel special. If WoD was months and months away, one could almost understand the urge to keep it to one's self, though not really so much with hunters.

Anyway, now I know. Sadly my realm has a 45 to 60+ min wait on UBRS so I probably won't get one till WoD comes out. Not really willing to sit around that long for the CHANCE that the tank/group will let me tame one. But now I know those guys out there lieing to make themselves sound cooler than they are, are full of shit.

Yeah, I know. It's just... among hunters, I've not experienced it much. In 7+ years of play, I can count the number of times a fellow hunter screwed me or trolled me on one hand. And in an MMO that's pretty good. Sure once or twice I've had guys get mad at rare tames and kill them as I'm trying to tame them, but it was spread over 7+ years.

Two guys in about 3 days lieing or being snotty about a pet is a pretty rare thing in my own limited experience. Most times if you ask a hunter "Hey where'd you get that pet?" They're not only happy to tell you, but proud, as they're proud of their pets, and achieving the tame.

Sadly I'm US side, but I'll be ok. WoD isn't that far off.

Yeh I have been trying for a few days to grab one. Even when I run with a friend tank, I end up with someone that thinks they are all that and keep their pet on the wolf when I try to tame. But that is life, gonna keep trying, but likely just wait till WOD drops to grab a black one.
