I have come across a board about this one time but lost track, some one posted a screen shot about a sea snake being tameable in beta/ptr. searched arround n found on wow forum -

They were for a while. Some people (including me) tweeted @Muffinus about it and asked if they could find some way to make it intentional, but they didn't, so it's fixed now.

ah, that sucks... was lookin forward to one of those ones =(
