Hi there, all

I have a proposition of a little Petopian event. What do you think about going out together to tame Gara, from the start of the quest to the very end?

I thought about the weekend 22/23.11, to give all enough time for whatever they want to do first, although there's no requirement other than lvl90 and having completed the intro.
(that's the theory. I'm not it beta, don't know how phasing works, and I'm not even sure if we can do the quests as a raid - if not, we'll go as several parties all anchored to one server)

Preliminary plan:

22.11.2014, 7pm - Horde event
We gather up around the place horde characters end up after the intro quests and go together from there. Yes, it will take a while to actually reach Gara, but it will be worth it

The event will be hosted on Bloodhoof(pve), but you don't need a char on this server, we can pull you in with Btag.

23.11.2014, 7pm - Alliance event
We gather up around the place ally characters end up after the intro quests and go together from there. It's just a spitting distance from Gara - at least comparing to the hordies place

As for a server I will need a bit of help here. My ally lvl90(and future 100) hunter is on The Maelstrom, which is a pvp server, but I'd rather do it on a pve one to avoid needless frustration - so I'm looking for someone with a hunter on a pve realm to anchor us

I'll go! I'm assuming everyone will help everyone get what they need for Gara, and then we'll all tame her at the end? If so I'm in! Petopians unite!

Yes

We'll all go, as a group, from point to point, to get the whole chain done

A mob of hunters and their pets... think WHU events, although not even close to their numbers and epicness

Not sure if it'd work but some pets dance now...so at some point when we all gather we get pets that can dance and then while we wait for the others we have a huge dance party with our pets

I'd say we have a dance party with our Gara's but I don't know if it'd work.

The new wolf models dance, too, so Gara dance party seems quite possible

(unless Blizz takes the dance away again... :< )

I would love to come do this on Sylvia! (so long as my raid leader doesn't have plans if the ally event falls on a Saturday o.-) This sounds like a ton of fun. I always have fun at petopian events. So what time zone is "7pm" going by?

Uhm... server time

I'm not sure about different timezones on EU servers, I'll have to check.
Myself, I'm in Poland, which is in GMT+1 right now (just entered winter time last weekend).

I was wondering...

With the current state of the servers I'm a bit worried about this event. I was planing to be at least 96-98 on my main by now, and I'm baarely 94. My horde has just finished Tanaan and established her garrison - and that was it, since then I found all those people standing inside

Also I still need some time to scout the routes and all /sigh

I thought I'd missed the event

panic over! I'm only 91 myself, but I'll level as much as I can in time for the event. I'd hate to slow people down by dragging a load of mobs and screaming for assistance
