I remember my first raid, this happen in Karazhan(TBC time). But i never done Opera event with Wizard of Oz bosses, done Romulo and Julianne alot times and Red Riding Hood few times.
I was read about Roar, I know this NPC is a beast, but I dont know if this NPC can be tamed. Somebody know?

That would be awesome if he was! but It could take forever to find him you might not get Oz... for a bit atlest

Is that the only lion person in the game? I don't recall seeing one and I've never done Karazhan.

I believe he is yes the other two I remember like that are the panther and tiger bosses in Zg

Oh, man, someone ought to go check! I highly doubt he could be tamed, but it would be beyond cool if he could be.

That never even occurred to me. I haven't the foggiest if he's tameable, but he'd definitely be a unique pet.

I like to go there every week to try at the mount so I'll add that to my list to check on until someone else gets wizard of oz... since I usually get big bad wolf. :p

This seems like a good way to spend some time;

I shall go and check out the one in ZG for sure since I make weekly trips there anyways, and I'll see about roar in Kara if I can manage to get a group together.

I definately doubt it. xD He's a raid boss, and humanoid-like. =s The ZG one is not tameable, already checked.

They went all up in arms with the Worgen, so I think this would be a very similiar situation. xD

EDIT: Yes yes I know The Beast is tameable, but the other point stands.

Tito in the same encounter isn't tamable. I don't think Roar would be, "Beast" classification or no.

Got Romeo and Juliet today, no luck :p

as far as i remember beast loring him back at the cara days he was not tamable, but then again i might be wrong...

I am pretty sure if he was tameable we would all of heard about it and everyone would have him. xD

Monday I done Opera Event, and got Romulo and Julianne, yesterday got Romulo and Julianne again. No lucky. Btw, I never saw Roar since TBC times, ever I got Romulo and Julianne or The Big Bad Wolf.
Next week I will try again. If somebody go to Karazhan farm mount, try done Opera Event to...

I would strongly advise against pursuing this. As I said, back at 70, I Beast Lored Tito, a wolf mob in the same encounter, and he was clearly marked as Not Tamable. I don't think they'd have made Tito untamable and somehow missed Roar. Especially not after the Garwal kerfuffle. If he ever were tamable, I'm willing to bet that incident got his "not tamable" switch flipped pretty dang quick to prevent future headaches.

Secondly - odd though it might be to say - as hunters, just because we can tame such things doesn't mean we should necessarily. Do you realize what will happen if, against all laws of logic, you go in there and manage to tame him? Do you want to be the person responsible for potentially crashing every single set of instance servers across every single battlegroup as hunters flood Karazhan hoping to draw the Oz event? Because word will get out if you discover he is tamable.

This may be one of those things it's better that we just not know, for the greater good of game stability.

Well, I wouldn't want server crashes but to discover something like this...would be something along the lines of epic, in my opinion.

I still can't understand why anyone would want that ugly thing as a pet, but nonetheless, I'd love to be the one crashing the instanceservers.

You mean ignore the fact the servers were crashing BEFORE this?
