i have been looking for exotic pets for 7 days and i started it for 1 thing : Tame King Krush
now KK is the ultimate hunter challenge so i made a special spec , bough flasks , made macro's , etc etc...
i camped him 5 days until 1 evening i flew around the basin and teh npcfinder picked him up below me , i flew down and started taming , it went pretty well but then he feared me and i almost died , i feigned just in time .
damn no food with me , what to do? then i see a draenei mage pass by and kill my pet .
now its been another 2 days without a sign , the ironic thing is i tamed loque and aotona while lf KK

I've never tried to tame him, but from what I've read, King Krush can be a heartbreaker, due to his fearing and grief/competition from other players. I understand a priest or paladin can be useful (correct me if I'm wrong). Hang in there, you'll get him.

Yes, the King of Sholazar Basin can stomp on your dreams of a tame. I haven't attempted such a monster of a tame (yet) but I've read the tales of those who do make the attempt.

Having a priest with Fear Ward can help. I hear that shamans can be helpful in such instances too. And I think, though I might be wrong, that a paladin can use Hammer of Justice on Krush.

Someone on the forums has a good method for taming Krush. I suggest doing a little research on the forums and checking those posts out. The rest, I guess, is luck.

I hear you. I've lost King krush while trying to tame another temp pet. It's disheartening I must say, but I am pretty stubborn and I think if your determined to get him, don't give up. King krush has always been my favourite pet since I saw him with another hunter. Twice I lost him to someone else when I went afk and didn't hear the npcscanner go off. He's a pain in the butt to get, your best bet to get him is to have a pocket priest. It will save you alot of hearthache. Especially since when it comes to that guy, if your lucky you may get more then one shot at him.

Yeah, as far as I know Hammer of Justice work on him. Shammies are useful with their Wrath of Air totem and heroism to cut the tame time down. Fear ward is also excellent.

Sorry for the bad experience, Tramani. From what I've seen, it usually takes a few sightings to finally get him because of griefers or just bad luck with the tames. You sound like you have both the dedication and preparation to get him though.

Ugh. Krush. I saw him once while cruising around and looking for Loque. Dropped down, freaked out, and started stalking him. My gear absolutely sucked (still does) so I KNEW I couldn't do it without any help. Long story short, I got a shaman for a heal; and he must've called allllll his buddies. Because everyone and their mother showed up to attack Krush. I was 5 SECONDS away from getting the tame when some idiots started wailing on him, stole my aggro, and slaughtered him. Sigh. I wish you MUCH better luck than I had.

Irony? I tamed King Krush and Aotona looking for Loque'nahak, I had at one time 2 Krushes, I needed to see how the difference was after the Beastail Wrath nurf, not to bad just need to really time the fear well, but finally Loque' spawned after around a week and I had to dismiss my Krush #2 to get him, of course I did pet him before I sent him on his way, -Unknowne/Elune

yeah i definatly wont give up , il tame him one day . i want to try solo tame , sur u can use a friend but then youl never be able to say ; Hey i solo-tamed the green menace of sholazar basin!
and its hard to find a priest/pally/shammy that wants to fly with you over the basin for hours or days =P and if u ask someone in the basin when u found him , you might take the risc of atracting other people ^^
