Here on Draka in the US this was the BEST launch in the game's history. No lag, no crashes, no queue times on my server, and no bugged quests. It even launched 15 minutes early. The smoothest expansion launch ever.

The lag was ridiculous, the server/world crashes were regular for the first hour or two, and the garrison quest was unavailable - it was bugged to hell and back.

That said, I was a TAD obsessive and ended up playing until 8 this morning, and starting around 5AM the servers were stable and lag was completely gone.

But the quests are a BLAST!!! I didn't participate this year in the beta, although I could have. So it was all a beautiful surprise for me, and I was absolutely in love with how it worked. A very linear beginning, then a gradual loosening of the quest lines. I think a bit more enjoyable that the almost too-rigid questing paradigm of MoP.

Wow Draenor (EU) Wow terrible!! Players mounting on mounts on mounts onntop of quest npcs. Stacking in hundreds.. wow this is terrible. And the lag... The lag i dont even have words..

I gave up last night I was in game near the portal like half hour before release
and like 5 mins before release mass dc and could not get back in.

and yea lots of stacking on npc near the garrison quests managed to get till there got my garrison and when i got ported in i fell thought the world now for the last hour I have been trying to get back in game. Going from queue to error retrieving char list back to queue....

Worst launch for me tbc, wrath all went smooth, cata was okeish after I got in. MoP similar release to Wod during the night but next day I got in and do every thing just fine so I guess wod is worse

Silvermoon was horrid ..w hy we are moving server.. (once it all stop bugging )

And this is why I tried not to be around directly as the expansion was launching. xD Something that big and with so many people involved never goes without a hitch. I've actually had a very pleasant time questing right now as the only lag I'm receiving is from my internet, which is expected as my DSL is very bad.

We must be on different Draka servers cuz I spent an about an hour waiting for people to get off their mounts so I could click on the damn eyeglass also because of two broken quests I'm now stuck on my main

Well I just tryed to do it on my server Dath'remar and the lag was so bad just trying to speak to Kadgar and there was only one otehr person there >.> and now I'm stuck in a loading screen so I've had to quit the game :S

I think I need to turn off the new models

WrA was really polite community wise, lots of people helping out and nobody being terribly rude (that I saw).

Server stability wise, however... Not so good. Frostfire Ridge crashed and sent everyone to Shrine, the Garrisons bugged and trapped players in them, and the lag is currently at nearly unplayable levels.

The people are nice, though.

Well I found out most of my issues where coming from the new models. So now I'm back to old WoW XD

Right now on my server, the game is completely unplayable anywhere. I'm trying to do some Northrend stuff and the lag is getting me killed.

Still no lag at all for me. The only issue has been the Garrison server crashing about 90 minutes ago so nobody could get in. Quests have been perfect though. There were people on top of NPC's a few times but I always got the yellow icon even through them and was able to pick up and turn in. Even when I couldn't even see the NPC. Playing with the new models on too.

Frostfire Ridge is a nightmare on Area 52. Haven't checked Vek'nilash though.

How much more stable is it?

Well I don't get any more lag for one. That could be my pc.

WoW's a memory hog, especially with the new models. I ordered myself more RAM for this expansion, so that may fix some of my lag issues.

Needless to say, Wyrmrest Accord is having a rough day. XD Not too many DCs, but plenty of lag all around and queue time. It's taking me over an hour just to log on. XD

You got lucky.. it was horrible on Anvilmar.. Game kept freezing, lagging.. it's been lagging out on and off all day, and now I can't get in. Stuck at 90% loading. When I do get in, I can't do anything. You can't cast, hearth, use portal or create anything.

It's awful on Icecrown and Moon Guard. My fiance is looking at a 138 minute wait. ><;

The launch is hardly the best. Your main feature -- garrisons -- is down in a large number of servers. This is pretty awful. Cata and MoP were much better.

My main server, and the minutes estimated climbs to nearly 500 minutes and as low as around the late 60's (but that's to be expected of places like Moon Guard who already have a massive population but I can't get into my other servers where I have not so well built 90's)
