Doesn't seem to be, I was hoping they'd use it in the updated Molten Core, but I haven't seen it on any mobs, just the mount itself.

I think The beast from ubrs has that model but you cant tame him

Ah, the Son of the Beast still uses the old model too, I went in there tonight to check it out. But yeah, either way he's level 102 so we wouldn't be able to tame him until next expansion. I was hoping the same! Saw the new mount in game yesterday and was blown away!

While i dont care for the mount itself the model is exactly what i want for most old world pets!
Its fully true to the original look just much more...smother!
i hope they do put it somewhere. maybe as a replacement for a few old model ones.
