No, those stopped being available a long time ago when they hotfixed the trick taming.

Somewhat related-for those that were able to tame King Din with his collar intact-after the hotfixes does King Din still have the collar and will he lose it upon dieing/entering arena?

I've heard both yes and no on this. I personally would not risk it. I would also not risk using him in stampede.

It would be removed if you entered the arena with him.

No, the way to tame them has been fixed - 3 times? - so it may even be doubtful that if a new way is discovered it will be shared openly again.
Things that remove pet buffs have been:
Arena
RBG's
The Yogg-Saron fight (happened to Quinni with their Sha Goat)
Death (Yours while the pet is out or the pets) - IF they are fragile pets, some like the Fire Boar and Kung Din do not.
Stampede (debated)

I'm not sure if this is in response to my question, but I was not asking if appearance buff pets were fixed or not-that has already been answered several times.
Some appearance buff pets have an aura to them which could be purely cosmetic or could be some kind of damage buff. Obviously a permanent damage buff would lead to an exploit and thus pet auras are lost upon taming.
Other "appearance buff" pets did not have an aura and in many cases, developers allowed hunters that had already tamed the pet, to keep it.
So my question was if anyone remembered if King Din's collar was an aura or not. Whether those that did tame him, got to keep the collar appearance without worrying about death/arena etc.
Also Stampede does not cause any of my cosmetic pets to lose their appearance, nor does the Yogg fight.

Kung Din keeps his chain if he dies.
However ALL appearance buff pets lose the buff upon entering arenas. So anyone with appearance buffed pets should stay out unless you want them to lose it.

Thanks Zedxrgal! Exactly what I was wondering. I'm pretty sure one of my hunters tamed King Din (I have way too many hunters) and before I start searching through the stables I wanted to make sure he can die and keep the chain before I even bother checking.
I don't do arena on hunter so no worries there
