I was hoping they would.. and it really doesn't surprise me. I liked the game a lot when I first got it; I thought the quests were interesting and enjoyable. But once I got to the veteran levels I just didn't enjoy it enough to spend money on the sub fee each month. And so before my free month even expired, I cancelled it.
Might start playing a bit again now though.

They are also releasing a console version in June! I might just have to pick up the game again. I haven't played it since beta. I liked it okay, but I didn't feel it was engaging enough for a monthly subscription.

Personally I thought the game was terrible, so this doesn't surprise me one bit.

It just makes me wonder how they will be able to keep the servers running. Are they depending on more sales of the game? The perks for paying don't seem like very much.
I tried the game in beta and found it not terrible but also not good enough to pay a sub for.

They will have a store that sells customization and other such items, similar to the GW2 store. NOT pay-to-win, from what I understand. That model seems to work fairly well for other games, so I hope that it works out for ESO as well.

Has anyone played this lately? I've been thinking of trying it out again, since it sounds like they've made some changes and improvements. Now that I have an Xbox One, I thought about getting it for that.

OP makes it sound bad, while in fact they were preparing for console launch, and it worked wonderfully - not to mention that subs are not even fully dropped. They mentioned "millions of players playing" in one of post-relaunch tweets!?
BTW the game was picked as GotY on MMORPG.com, and finished second on couple other MMO sites. Certainly worth picking up.

I switched to staff and in the progress of switching to light armor on Müsli. Reset her skills already 4 times now. Think its really hard to both be a good healer and do enough damage to solo

No it should be fine. I've had to change my H1Z1 info like 5 times, never effected my Steam anything.
