Holy cow...GIMME! Please be a store mount....

I'm really hoping it's a store mount. Sorry if that sounds selfish to any one.

It looks void-ish. Maybe that in-game mail that was found in the patch notes(?) saying:

From this thread - Though, as it it was said, it could be just for the void talon - I'm just guessing here lol.

Ohhh do want! the runes and books make me think it may be related to our legendary ring quest or something.

That does seem like a good idea, but someone else pointed out, Blizzard doesn't usually 'tease' mounts unless it's a store/RaF mount, but who knows!! I'd like to see Khadgar riding around on this purple kitty lol

The anatomy looks really strange in that angle, but either way, I need it because it's purple. *_*

Something void-related or a store mount sounds like the most likely source but I wonder if it'd be Heroes of the storm related? Hearthstone had a mount for WoW after all so it isn't far-fetched, and when I first saw the picture I thought it wasn't a WoW mount at all but a Heroes mount.

I'm gonna guess store mount like others - it kinda reminds me of the Ulduar-esq lion we got

I'm guessing the "shoulder pads" will produce magical wings for it to fly, like how the Imperial Quilen does. Either way it will look great for my arcane mage.

This was my guess too when I 1st saw them It would be cool if they did something like that. Though if they didn't , I'd would still be very very surprised if it didn't fly, as all other with the same implementation have had the capacity (I'm rolling with RaF/Bliz Store/Promo.) To my recollection, never has blizzard released a "Sneak Peak" of any mount that we did not have to pay real money for (excluding ones subscriptions) in some capacity.

At least that explains what that "saber2mount" skin reference will be.

Looks more like a Lich King era saber wolf. My first reaction was... odd. It reminds me more of Heroes of the Storm art. So hyper saturated for WoW. Would have to be a store mount, surely.

I could see it as a perk for playing Heroes of the Storm like with Hearthstone.

Cows suggestion made me think of something else...Legacy of the Void CE "mount" for wow maybe? They usually give you a wow pet but maybe they trying to shake things up.

Never thought of that, either!


Question: does anyone recognize any of the symbols/runes that are displayed on the mount? I don't but if they do resemble anything then it may help give it away.
