Heirloom upgrades in next patch question.

I seem to remember reading that with the new heirloom tab there will be new 'loom vendors as well as new types of looms (neck pieces? cool)

However, I recall someone writing that 'looms get "upgraded" to level 90?
But it was unclear if one has to upgrade them oneself? or if they simply automatically get upgraded to 90? or if there IS an upgrade (ie: or if it's simply that there WILL be 'looms that go to 90)?

Can anyone shed any clarity on this?

If I have a full set of Darkmoon Faire armor that only goes to 80, when the patch comes, does it stay level 80 capped? or automatically go to 90? or do I have to first upgrade to 85 for it to automatically go to 90?

there are some ambiguous and possibly worrisome elements in that post.

what exactly does the 1-60, 60-90, and 90-100 thing mean?

right now I have full sets of all the heirloom available from DMF and the vendor in Orgrimmar. This all caps at 85. So the post implies that this will now cap at 90.. but will they only be usable at 60? Since the 'looms that fall into that 90-cap category are part of the "2nd tier" of heirlooms, covering levels 60 through 90 according to that post.

it's frustratingly incomplete information.

it could almost be read as implying that one will need to purchase 'looms that cover levels 1 through 60, then switch to another set for 60 through 90, and yet another from 90 to 100 (which is ok I guess, since those were included with pandaria).

what worries me is the prospect of needing to buy entire new sets of gear for my new toons when I already have all the gear for those classes. It's taken me long enough to gather DMF tickets for all that stuff.

I sort of wish Blizzard's employees weren't so vague when they described things.

From what I understand I don't think you'll have to replace anything...I think you'll get like tokens to upgrade them to the 90-100 stuff but thats just what I've read.

I hope we don't need 3 sets of them to go from 1-100 cause that sounds very backward.

I've seen this tokens comment, but it's always by forum posters, and never from anyone really Blizz-related.
I hope they give us more news soon.

perhaps one should go look in ptr as it probably in there already? hmm i tried this but all i can find for ptr is a ptr with still pandaria so much for trying that out, besides i got no character copies either.
