After questing with Magister Krelas and getting to see him be all suave and sexy awesome, it's great that he's a follower... but it's also a shame that he's not a bodyguard. It doesn't help that apparently Aeda Brightdawn isn't very good at her job.

Has anyone else ran into any followers that they sorely wished could be promoted to bodyguard status?

Yeahh, I really wish we could just choose any of our followers to be a bodyguard. I'm not interested in any of the ones that have the trait, whereas there's a whole bunch of my other followers I'd enjoy having accompany me around Draenor.

I think there is an option to ask any follower to go on patrol with you, but they don't talk to you or have reputation or anything like that. Doesn't seem as much like they're an honest-to-goodness wingman/wingwoman.

Dunno about ya'll, but I love my Arrakoa bodyguard.

I noticed that it's not one of the traits you can have your inn's headhunter go look for, either. I wonder if you could get lucky with the follower re-rolls and have Bodyguard come up as one of the new ones?

Nope. Bodyguards consist of only 5 set followers because each one has their own faction to gain reputation with.
