WoW Petopia Community

I just found out one of my good new friends was shot and killed. I didn't realize it was him since I knew him more under a nickname. He was mentioned in the anime club and we had a moment of silence for him. I broke down cause it hit me like a ton of bricks. We were gonna play WoW together, even Diablo and Heroes of the Storm when his computer got fixed. He was in my Culture and Diversity class, our first class together. He showed one day, but then was gone due to pneumonia. Now....he's never coming back.

Dakota was only 18 yrs old, fresh out of high school and barely into his third term at my college. He was also part of a project called ClassCraft that me and some others are developing and wanted to get it into the school systems someday. It was inspired by WoW. It basically is like WoW but you're learning about the class you're taking whether it be math or english while you play and you gotta do 'assignments' to get rewards and beat bad guys. His character was known as the Sun God. My teacher is making a game room(where we have the oculus rift and stuff) and we're gonna call it the Kota Deck.

That's so tragic I'm so sorry to hear that, especially to someone so young with a full life ahead. So senseless. I hope you're doing ok too. *hugs*

I'm trying. I really am. I'm gonna tame a wolf in his name....so far, seems his best friend likes the grey ghostly wolf(the one with the knife in the head) and the ghostly white saber worg from kun-lai. I'm gonna name my lil phoenix hatchling after him too.

Thank you all. His funeral is tomorrow and my work has been really understanding about all this, making sure I'm mentally okay enough to work with the public.

They're kind people. We're short staffed, but they wanna make sure I'm well enough since this was a rather jarring thing to happen.

I'm sorry to hear both the eggs I gave you turned out to be girls But I'm glad to see you found the perfect dragon for him. The picture you made in his memory is wonderful too

Thank you. He's getting a lot of tributes. I got to see him one last time....in a coffin. I broke down crying pretty hard. But it broke my heart more to see his mother crying. I hugged her tight. I can't imagine how it feels to bury your own child like that. She and his father loved the picture and want a copy of it.
