If you were the -only- hunter in WoW...
If ANY pet you picked was unique, because nobody else had pets...
If ANY pet you picked had people whispering you "OMG, how did you get that pet??"
If you were the only player walking around with a beast at your side...
If all pets had the same dps...

And if you could only pick ONE pet (!!)...

Which pet would you choose? With rarity out the window and only ONE pet choice, which pet would you pick?

As much as I love devilsaurs and things of that nature, I would have to say core hounds. While I hate the stomping sound, I think just their appearance and size definitely gives them this "Wow!" factor. I even like to stop and look at them on the rare occasion I see someone with one in Dalaran. They're totally cool, just not for me. But yeah...I think any core hound would be the most impressive pet.

Easy choice for me - http://wow-petopia.com/html/skins/skin_ ... white.html - My Mamoru because he'd be unique no matter what. Because his deep blue eyes surrounded by that black ring make him appear so wise and his roar make him unique. Because I'd always wanted him back when I as an alli had it almost impossible to get him. Because I could never find a nice horde to help me summon Echeeyakee and because I never knew about Sian. Because I was so happy when I found out alli could do that quest now and I could finally have him.. Because he is as his name states him as "My Protector.."

Gondria. She brings in whispers even now. :P

Sunscale on Yas, and tie of Aurelius, Erebus and Jareth on Ryai. now I'm greatful we can have more than one pet lolz

ie a worm, sapphire hive queen, hydra and King Mosh respectively :p

Because I saw a hunter with this once and it's how I found this web page. I really badly wanted one and the google path led me here. So sad was I to learn they're not available anymore. I nearly cried

What's sad is, I think ignorant people (not in a rude way; ignorant as in they do not have the knowledge of) do not see the difference between Gezzarak and the normal teal Warpstalkers from Netherstorm. I've gotten a few whispers from baby hunters, but that's what you get if you bring any cool looking pet (including my silithid...>.<) to low level areas. So if I were the only one, I'd want people to know she's a rare, and my baby. <3

I am going to say the ghost wolf.. I wanted hi mso badly when I first saw a hunter with him and then find out hes untameable now was sad

or king krush. I think he was that one pet I wanted so badly. And well considering I have put in alot of time and gold to try and get him I am hoping that it will work out for me one day

In all honesty?

Yup. I'd still have to stick with my Skorn. I just have such an attachment to these amazing black Devilsaurs, I really think it's the best 'click' for me. ^^

That's such a hard question to answer though. Close runners up would definitely be:

Sapphire Hive Queen, or White Windserpent.

First pet that pops into my mind is Skoll. I mean really, what's better than a big blue wolf with electricity running through his fur? Now, if it was any non humanoid in the game, it'd have to be a dragon. I'd love to be a dragon's companion.
