Im just playing on the PTR, And I noticed the iron wolves running around. I was curious and Lored them, turns out you can tame these ones. I quickly dismissed and nabbed one. They are quiet the cool looking animal.

Where did you find one under level 101?

It was just at the beginning of the quest line.

Is PBE some other acronym for the PTR? And what quest line are you referring to? The one at the Iron Docks that no one can progress on right now? If this is just in Tanaan it would be helpful to mark it on a map or just say the area.

Edit: I found it. Located at the Iron Front (far west of the Tanaan map). Iron Warwolf

I really really hope this is intentional. I am quite cautious early in these PTR cycles.

ugh i already have too many wolves but I would love love LOVE an iron one! >.< *grabby hands* hope they make it to live

My exact thoughts on this.

Where abouts where these guys roaming? Not sure if they are intentionally tameable, but they are certainly wicked looking!

I would love it if that stays tamable, but I won't get excited quite yet.

I was wondering the same thing, PBE? And where exactly on the map can you find these wolves?

Could you include a picture, Bendak? Of where?

I was always hoping this model would be a mount we could get. I'm surprised it hasn't been made into one.

That's one darned cool wolf. I do hope they stay tameable. My main hunter probably won't tame one, but the other high level one sure will. Those spikey ball things must be darned uncomfortable, bumping into the wolf's sides like that.

The video is awesome, it makes me want to tame it even more! He is so .. badass.

I'd even be happy if they added this fellow in and made him tameable instead:

This is no indication of it's permanent status, but these are still tamable as of the latest patch, just checked.
