Remember those Rylak-models we found that thought they were chimeras (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=74981/thunde ... r#comments)? On the PTR, mine is labeled as a Rylak even though I originally tamed him as a Chimera on live. Very disappointing...

EDIT: I recall in Wrath something similar happening with Sunreaver Dragonhawks. The mob was changed, and then live versions transferred became the mob, but only on the PTR. They remained the same orange-skinned Dragonhawks on live when previously tamed before the patch hit, not changed to the 'mount' version we have today. This could mean the same thing for our tamed Chimaeras, that they will remain unchanged on live.

oh noooo! D: but i love my lil Renegade. ;_; he wasn't hurting anyone with his choice to be different! this paired with mentions of macro tamed pets losing their appearance buffs on ptr are very troubling. they already got rid of all of my color changers. =/

I -would- check on my appearance pets, but every time I hit Call Pet, I get a LUA error on the PTR...

me too. I'm stuck using my core hound in ptr right now which really, really sucks since for some reason they have been bugged since the last patch and refuse to use growl.

Yeah it was known for some time that these would become fixed in 6.2. Has anyone checked that ravager / wasp from FFR? That should be fixed too.

I feel positively terrible for this poor young Chimaera.

Instead of letting him express who he really is, who he wants to be, he's being forced to become what he's not. I say he shouldn't have to conform to society's standards. He should be allowed to be the Chimaera that he truly is and not the Rylak that this fascist society is forcing him to be.

I just logged in today after reading this topic and my Chimera has become a Rylak. It was fun while it lasted

It's a shame too since I love how the Rylak models don't get in the way while the Chimera ones do all the time.

I agree. I don't think rylaks should have been created as a new family either. It makes no sense in terms of their appearance or in terms of Outland. But since they exist anyway, then that's the family they are supposed to belong to.
