Hello.
Few weeks ago in LFR some hunter popped Stampede and I saw this Yellow Larva worm, it was big and stood out from the other pets. I own both of the MoP green and orange worms that got fixed (can not tame anymore), did I miss something recently, was the yellow one tameable?

Thanks.

They were for a time, but if you had it, you could keep it after the fix.

I thought that was only the
amber parasite (red toothed larva) from that one daily in Dread Wastes and the
Gorishi grub (green larva) that spawned from the rare silithid in Un'Goro? I've not heard of the yellow larva being tameable before.

Was it a spawn from Dire Beast perhaps
I was not around when the worm thing happened I think I was in hiatus so I don't even recall what color

That's another possibility.

I'm not aware of the yellow ever being tameable, only the two mentioned previously. I don't see any mention of it on Petopia or Wowhead either. Is there any chance it was the green under weird light? Or could it have been a dire beast summon in some zone?

Those death knight little worms are not yellow and this one was very large. This yellow worm is not tameable in WoD right?

Only the Gorishi Grub (green) and Amber Parasite (orange/red, toothed) were previously tameable. This would be a new occurrence...
Are you sure it wasn't green and didn't just appear yellow in the light?

I am pretty sure when the one red grub was found to be tamable, the Petopian's did a very thorough job checking every single grub/spawn and only found the green one to be the other tamable. No yellow ones where ever found to be tamable...I'd guess that it was either the lighting or a dire beast summon...

I have a grub and I think it was yellow...i'll have to double check but it was glitch tame from a while ago and then got removed. Someone can check my armoury and see maybe..I might be insane and its red.

Here's the original thread from when the GORISHI GRUB was tamable.
I suspect it was spawned from Dire Beast since if spawned large by what the OP says. I know that spell spawns creatures only from the surrounding zone though. Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj and Naxxramas are the only places outside of Eastern Plague Lands these guys spawn. But I don't think either of them are LFR selections??? So I am curious exactly where this beastie was seen. Wouldn't mind knowing.

U might want to try AQ10 Hive Larva spawn during a boss fight but the problem is you will get stunned when it is spawn and it will one shot you . I cant beast lore it when it is spawned due to the stun mechanism , seem like this will be the most likely candidate .

Checked it out with a friend. She got stunned, I ran up and tried to tame. Big ol' Nope, Not Tameable.

Too bad, that's the most likely candidate I found so far . Usually unintended tame will be from spawn pet. Let's dig and see any spawn and summon yellow maggot is around.

I don't ever recall seeing a yellow grub using dire beast but I never use it anymore so I most likely wrong. Doesn't dire beast change on what area your in to? Was this in a WoD area or raid? Dose it apply to raids and 5 mans? Now I'm going to have to do some digging too but if there was a new pet even I would have heard about it by now pls every hunter and their grandmother would have it on my sever.
