I dunno what to really think anymore. I'm kinda hopeful that they were just using WoD as a filler expansion while they worked on something big and good, but I'm not holding my breath either. :/

I wonder what it will be. We still have yet to see all the undersea race's cities. They could be fun.

An Sea themed expansion would be awesome!!!! But I know a LOT of people HATED Vash'jir with passion...Still my Favorite zone EVER!!!
Part of me still really wants an "Emerald Dream" Expansion...but I know that will probably never happen.

Maybe a space themed expansion XD, take the fight to the burning legion instead of on Azeroth or outlands/Dreanor...

Vash wasn't that bad at all. Just a lil polish and it'd been nearly perfect for underwater areas. Also yes on new races at the very least! Was very disappointed in lack of both of those in WoD.

I saw an article that said the synopsis had already been leaked and the new expansion was about the South Seas and centred on the Trolls and Night Elves. The concept where you had your own ship to travel between islands and could recruit pirate followers sounded really interesting actually!

Could be interesting...and that "new class" could be fun...if it is real, then YAY, if not...then it should be? lol.

Interesting ideas for sure, but will take with a grain of salt. Still would love a new race or two.

I am curious about the announcement placement and timing this year. It's not only against precedent for it to not be Blizzcon, it seems rushed. But maybe I'm reading too much into it. It just feels like they suddenly had reason to get it out there before <unknown thing> happens. I'm really too suspicious.

Funny thing:

The first thing I'll probably focus on, if they show us a trailer (not the cinematic, but the announcement trailer) of the new expansion is if I can see any new animals/creatures that could/are likely to become tameable.

I guess this signals the end of the Expansion.. Aside from the flying patch, I don't think we will see much content, if any at all.. Speaking of flying... it's been on the ptr for awhile now, I don't know why it's not live yet.. I've tried it out, and yes from what I can see.. it has some small bugs.. Overall, I think it's ready to go.

After the announcement I can't wait to see how many all "leaks" will come out on Redditt and MMO-Champion until the official announcement. But it still feels kinda weird that WoD came out in November and we're already getting news about the next expansion.

They were adding some more NPCs to vacant areas that you could only reach by flying, as well as fixing some areas where flying broke. The latest PTR build only came up yesterday. I would guess it's soon. I can't blame them for letting it bake, though. The people who cried loudest for flying to be added immediately would be the same ones squealing "GG Blizz" if there were any areas where flying broke.

Yeah I still think we have another 6 months to go atleast in WoD so if the new expansion is cooking it could be the christmas release? Maybe? But they did say from the get go this is a 2 raid teir expansion so no more raid content I would say...hellfire must be 'it' I guess.

They also said they wanted expacs to come out quicker since alot of people got "bored" at the end of Pandaria but I wasn't because Pandaria had such rich content to begin with. People are bored of WoD because there is less content and heirlooms make it super dooper easy to zip to 100. Although I like the questing in WoD I felt Pandaria had a much richer story that kept me lvling those 17 alts where as now I absolutly DREAD doing the same starting senario over and over and over.../flop.
