Speaking of which. No mention of flying so far.

They just did. The quests or method to unlock flying will exist at launch, but will not be completable at launch. I was too busy typing to catch the rest of what they said and will have to go back.

Ok, so it definitely sounds like they don't want us to fly right away. Good to know in advance. I personally refuse to go through half the expansion without flying, only to be given it at the end when it doesn't matter. That's just me though. I guess I will wait and see.

I agree completely. The whole "no flying in WoD" seriously backfired on them. Appreciating the scenery is nice the first 2 or 3 times you grind out quests and dailies, but then it just makes those tasks even more tedious than they already are. Also, I'm sure most people don't want to buy flying mounts in the store only to be grounded the entire time for whatever the current expansion is.

If this was true, I'd be all set! I guess all that pet battling finally paid off... Mwahaha!
