To be completely honest, you kind of missed the days of PokeFarm being SUPER popular around here, though it was mostly all in the Pokemon thread itself. Those were the days! XD

Anyway, I'm like.. Incredibly inactive on PokeFarm (both the old and the new versions) these days, but I may as well link my profile anyway! (And maybe someday I'll get back to the site. Now that the function to transfer Pokemon from the old site is up and running...)

Where are all these strange colored pokemon coming from? I see a ton of people with some really weird stuff.

There are the standard "shiny" ones, then there are "albino" which you need a special item to hunt/hatch those, then there is "Melanistic" which is a "Shiny Albino".
Then there are the various Mega-evolutions, both official designs and (unofficial) pokefarm-versions. Then there are Event pokemon, obtained through events or (if breedable) eggs can be found in the shelter or the pokemon can be traded.

Oh wow... This sounds a little more complicated than I had thought this game would have been xD
Is there anywhere that people can view all the sprites of all the special ones (shiny/albino/etc)? Might actually give me a goal instead of just randomly clicking on people all day long xD Which is strangely addictive.

I am not sure...maybe on the forums there?

SO last night I found an Apocalyptic Poochyena and a Shinxel in the shelter :U I sent their old owner a message asking if they lost them, and they said that they were releasing them to make some space. So now I have my first special pokemon !
I'm kinda wondering what I should do now. I haven't tried breeding yet on here, but I kinda wanna breed a boat-load of specials and throw them all in the shelter for people who don't have any yet. Do you think it would be worth it? Maybe I should hand give them to newbies? I dunno.
..........Would people even want them? How rare are specials? Would I be wasting my time? Rofl.
