I wish they'd got Jeff Kaplan to do it. Kaplan was wonderful to listen to. Or the Hearthstone guy whose name I missed. He was cool.

The proper cinematic for Legion is revealed and it looks great. It's all from Varian's perspective and he looks awesome. I love how he looks. Beautifully done. And his interactions with Sylvanas as an ally also really good.

Oh wow, I had no idea they'd have the cinematic finished for Legion already! MY QUEEN! ♥ I can't wait for more Sylvanas.
(I literally moved over to the free twitch stream for the rest of that because it's much smoother than the official one :/)

Sadly, I'm stuck at work, but the husband is off today and live messaging me as he watches the feed. To quote him on the WoW intro cinematic: "Holy crap Wrynn got old and Sylvanus got ugly."

Yep. Varian looks worn, older. But not so old that he's past it. Maybe in his 50s? I thought it was really well done. Same with Sylvanas.

Is it just me or does cinematic Varian remind anyone else of Denis Leary, but older and with black hair?

Anyways, here we go Legion panel!

He made me think of Ciaran Hinds, I don't know why. I think it's because Ciaran Hinds does a good battle-hardened character. It looks great. I'm so hyped!

They have fucked up the stream entirely. Huge numbers of angry paid subscribers, including myself, can see nothing but the Starcraft channel, and nobody has responded on the forum. I've basically missed everything I paid to see. Furious right now.

I'm glad I didn't pay for it - the EU forums aren't even working. (I love the new moonkin forum btw <3)

Fixed: if anyone else has this trouble, you need to set "accept third party cookies" to Always.

No professional streaming sites require that, and many have it switched off by default. That's absolutely amateur quality. Disgraceful it wasn't caught weeks ago.

Yeah, this streaming has been awful. :/ (mine's still buffering/low def almost constantly with just brief moments of clarity)

But on a good note, anyone catch that new bear model in the Highmountain pan through?

New Bears!!! Yippee!!!!

Lots of new demons. One looks like Therazane with purple skin, wings and horns.

Definitely new hippogryph colours! They had the new model in darker colours (blueish maybe?)

They showed a draenor wolf.

Old mummy eagles.

The nightmare dragons look awesome. Originally part of the green flight, they look very different. Sleeker, with black skin and red markings through them.

Also purple storm dragons, which look ok but I didn't think they looked so special. A little monotone.

In Azsuna I only saw a Draenor boar (red). Hopefully just a placeholder. Bad placement otherwise, I think.

Highmountain:

Moose! Brown moose, which we saw before. But also white. Very pretty.

And cute baby chibi moose!


The tauren artwork is gorgeous.

I really hope that we can tame a moose, they look really great!
