So I decided to go after skoll. Seeing as though there havent been any recent skoll threads I made one to get help. Where is the best place to camp him?

From what I've heard the 'disc' location just above Brunnhildar village seems to be the most popular sighting place. I tamed my Skoll at Snowdrift Plains though.

Ok the village area and the snowdrift plains seem viable...but according to the NPC scan the spawn point near temple of storms just doesnt look viable

Yeah..I've heard of a couple alternative spawn points, but they're not shown on WoWhead and I really haven't heard any confirmations for them. I'd say the 3 main areas shown in the above map are the most reliable.

EDIT: Whoops, thought you were talking about an unconfirmed northern location for a moment. The one near Temple of Storms (also called the Bor's Breath location) is indeed correct, I've seen a few people tame him there.

I've seen him in the wild 4 times. 3 times at the disc (which is where I tamed mine), and 1 time at Bor's Breath.

My Skoll tame popped up on Snowdrift plains so I can confirm it to be true. From what I have read people tame him either near valkyrion, snowdrift or at the disk.

Good luck in camping and don't give up.

Mine spawned at Temple of Storms. Didn't like him in the end, tough.

Everyone I know that has tamed him on Velen has done so that the spot at the base of the mountain by Valkyrion, including myself.

ive seen him at all 3 places, above the village seem to be the most common spawn.
But if you truly want him you will have to pat back and forth.
If you only stay at one spot and he spawn somewhere else.... well. no Skoll for you.

My Skoll was tamed in Bor's Breath. /nod

But on my server, most people seem to find him by the disc.

I tamed him south of the Temple of Storms. Two friends and I were making passes in an L shape from Snowdrift plains down south of the temple and over to the disc. I had just passed over the spawn spot by the temple and was halfway to the disc when Phyra screeched at me to turn around and come back. xD

Edit: I had the benefit of knowing when he spawned last. He spawned consistently 23 hours after last spawn on our server for a week there, where we managed to track every spawn. It helps to know that and to have a few friends with you around spawn time to tag him for ya. Just spread out!

Camp one spot with occasional patrols along the other points. I've seen him in 3 different spots while trying to get TLPD.

I started out camping the spot by Brun village, but ended up flying a circle between heroics while in queue. I ended up finding him at the Snowdrift Plains spot myself.

I got mine at the disc. I checked his spot and my dungeon popped while I was checking. When I zoned back out of the dungeon, there he was right in front of me.

I have found him at the snowdrift plains around 3 times. And once near that temple of storms.. or it might have been twice.
The snowdrift plains area seems to be his favourite spawn point on my server! Good luck on your hunt ^.^
