I don't know if anyone here watches the show Face Off on SyFy, but when they showed the preview stuff for the season in the first ep, one thing shown was there was gunna be WoW ep. Kinda interesting, I wonder what the make up will be...probably a Demon Hunter make up, which would be really disappointing to me, but understandable with the new expansion coming out.

I hope they don't do a tie-in like they did for "American Posers" where people voted on which faction got a free snow-mobile mount.

Well, we got mounts from that show because they actually designed the motorcycles on the show.

Would be kind of hard to implement a Face-off creation unless they somehow put it into game as a mob or something.

Ok, so I started paying attention to the opening credits of the show a bit closer and realized the challenge actually involves several of the races! I'll take screens later and post them, but I saw a male Draenei, female Troll and female Tauren. They all looked pretty awesome!

The ep finally aired yesterday when there was 5 contestants left. The choice of races were draenei, troll, tauren, goblin, worgen and pandaren. Only the panda wasn't picked. The draenei won the challenge, but it was super close with the troll. Overall, it was a great ep! I only had one nitpick with the troll one, and that's just cause the artist had no WoW knowledge prior, but it's a male troll, but the tusks look female. Other than that, awesoms! The draenei death knight was awesome, guy even had time to make a tail! I'll make some screens later.

I thought the draenei looked awesome but the rest didn't do anything for me. The troll was okay.

Given in game worgen aren't that badass (excluding some aspects of the males), I wouldn't be that surprised.

The goblin and worgen were just...pitiful.

Tauren's face looked odd to me, but the Draenei and troll were fantastic! Shame the Pandaren didn't get picked.

The goblin looked kind of like a green Ferengi to me, lol.
I think the tauren would have looked better if it had been painted a different color...the fleshy pink tones just didn't suit it. Maybe if it had been painted in brown tones?
The worgen...well, good to see that blizzard isn't the only one who can botch that design up.../cry
Troll just needed some bigger tusks, but other then that it looked pretty good!
the Draenei was awesome! Maybe some white contacts, but that's a minor detail.

without laying down hair/fur there is no way to make that look convincing. and with the limited amount of time they had, it was impossible.

Yeah, I saw the worgen and for the longest time I actually couldn't figure out what it was. It looks more like a cat because the muzzle's waaaay too short, and if you aren't gonna lay hair then you have to pick a much darker color so they don't look like Lon Chaney: The Feline Years.

The draenei is deffo the best, I think. There's something about the troll that looks gobliny to me. Tauren's good.
