We've had some drama in the guild, most of which I wasn't there for, but received a godawful amount of letters about. To deal with this, I have decided to change the privileges of some of the ranks in the guild.

The ranks in the guild are not actually in order, due to the guild rank interface being from hell.

Rank -1: "The Corner".
This rank can only listen to guild chat. Nothing else. It will act as a temporary rank for those that are misbehaving at the time, or got hacked (mostly for people who get hacked).

~Guild Bank Withdraws:~
None.

Rank 1: "Who P Dawg?".
This is the initiate rank. People who join will be here. It was a way for me to keep check of who was new to the guild, but now will just be an intro rank.

~Guild Bank Withdraws:~
One item per tab, per day.

Rank 2: "Follower".
This rank is for anyone who has joined the guild. Upon inviting, I would rank up the person to this rank.

~Guild Bank Withdraws:~
Three items per tab, per day.

Rank 3: "Chosen".
This rank is for people who have a forum account. Even if they don't post. They just need to have their forum account set up. Also, the name of their forum account will be put in their officer note.

~Guild Bank Withdraws:~
Five items per tab, per day.

Rank 4: "Acolyte".
People who have this rank are long time forum members, that I personally have known for awhile. I will ask anyone who thinks they qualify for this rank to PM me with a request, along with their thoughts why. They control the inviting/removing of members besides me.

~Guild Bank Withdraws:~
Ten items per tab, per day.

Rank 5: "Priest".
This is the officer rank. They have complete control over everything in the guild. The only thing they cannot do is promote anyone else to priest. Used for my alts and a select few.

~Guild Bank Withdraws:~
9,999 items per tab, per day.

Rank 6: "High Priest".
The Guild Master. Anything and everything in control by them.

~Guild Bank Withdraws:~
Unlimited.

I think this change is for the best.

For any who might be wondering, recently there was an influx of new people that were invited to the guild that weren't from the Forums here or anything. While the guild isn't intended to be a super exclusive secret club, the whole reason behind creating it (and the sister EU guild) was to bring this forum community together. A lot of the new strangers that joined did not mesh well with the mood of the guild as a whole. Nothing against them personally, but they were probably looking for something more akin to just a social guild.

Anyways, with the invitation privileges truncated a bit I think it'll cut down on a lot of potential problems.

I agree that this change is good. We've got an awesome guild with marvelous folks in its ranks. This isn't the end of recruiting, it's just recruiting in a better manner. We want to bring in people who will mesh with the whole of us. We don't want to bring in "unknowns" who might cause issue, drama and such. Things like that break guilds up, causes rifts.

This change will, as Veph said, cut down on any future problems.

Could we all be Supah Staahs in the Supah Sekret guild? lol
