Which pets do you currently have that have some oddities?

For instance, the corpse scarab has a black streak when it moves.

The rylak in frostfire ridge is tameable without BM etc.

- Sha-infected amber scorpid, Erebos

- Ghostly Outland vulture (Arakkoa Protector), has a bluish spirit haze and is slightly transparent

- Sha-infected cat, Sombra (This is lost on death, so I rarely take her out of the stable)

Grimtotem Spirit Guide: Looks like spirit beast wolf, but is just a wolf.
Sha tiger: Orange tiger covered in sha shadows and goop effects
Orange and Green grub: because they are grubs Under the worm family though!
Ghost worg: Sword in his head
Oil covered Sabre worg: Covered in a shadowy effect

Old screenshots, but the one "specialty" pet I wanted and tamed was the sha-infected crocolisk. He's still safe in my stables, though it's a shame I don't use him much out of fear of his buff somehow being accidentally wiped. Crocodiles are my favourite animals so I was really happy that I managed to get this pet back in the day.

My oddities would be:

Grimtotem Spirit Guide - Ghost Wolf!
Lord Kri - I put him here, cause for some reason, whenever he's out, randomly you'll hear the sound of something 'falling and hitting the floor'. Or others described it as a flying mount landing/idle.

I also add my Loque'nahak, Heero. He's special to me because when my friend first began spamming his "Confession" spell/glyph, he was trying to make my Hunter confess. Instead, my pet made a hilarious confession.

I have the ghost Sword Wolf, I named her Poppy.

I have the oil-stained wolf, the boar on fire, the ghost wolf with the sword in its head and both of the larva worms. Also how in the world did people get these sha touched pets?

What rylak can i tame without BM?

I've the Ghost wolf with the sword
Oil hawk (might have the wolf also)
Scarab with the black streak
Red Grub (green one on another hunter)
Tan Silithid (was tamed as a green Scorpion)

I have an oil wolf, a sword-in-head wolf, both larvae, and the Thunderlords Rylak which was unfortunately removed shortly into WoD (I believe after the first week) because of a bug with its spawn.

The rylak has quickly become my favorite, so much so that I gathered the Rylakstalker set and endured its huge shoulders for my BM mog, just so I could match my pet.



I take him around so much, for PVE, PVP, or RP, it almost became a joke that my character was a weird one-headed trol-lak, and someone did some art of Tazza looking vaguely like one.

I used to have the green grub, red grub, oil stained wolf, oil stained hawk, and tiger with a chain collar, but they mysteriously disappeared while I was on a break from WoW. Fortunately I wasn't terribly bonded with any but the tiger and green grub. It was mostly just fun to get the tame and have them around for novelty. I really wish that they would make the grubs an official worm, though. I did have the streaking scarab and thunking silithid at one point. They were quite amusing!

The one you are referring to is the Flamewing Skytalon found in Frostfire Ridge.

Just tested it in SrvL, yep still tamable.

Wait, whaaaa? I might have to go nab one just 'cause. I already have one in the same color, but the armored version. So maybe I could have another one for SV and just pretend it's the same pet but without armor.

I have you guys to thank for this! I don't know why, but I'm oddly excited about this rylak. I didn't think I gave a flying fig about them (I've had that armored one in my stable for forever), but for some reason, having this one in SV is awesome to me. I guess I felt like when I was BM, I'd rather use a devilsaur or spirit beast or something, not a chimera cousin with a gimpy-butt run. Apparently now I'm cool with that.

This fella was sitting atop a rock in that Magnarock or w/e area, practically waiting for me to come get him. I wanted to name him Charon, but it was reserved, so I went with the alternate spelling: Kharon. I'm not even going to go with my original plan of making him the same as my armored version. He's his own awesomesauce. I have to admit that I hope they don't "fix" this one. Its family ability, Updraft, isn't exactly OP or anything, so...yeah. I'll probably have a signature made just in case though, so I can always remember that one time I had an awesome pet as SV.

Lessee. Oil-stained wolf, both grubs, and for awhile I had the Worgen! I wanted to get the GSG but I couldn't get anyone to help me before it got patched out, qq.
