Maining Classes & Specs

I know this is a hunter thread but not all are pleased with the changes and what not but I am curious. And what specs are you going to main and off spec?

Maybe set a separate poll for the three specs :)

Though since this is a pet site you'd expect a BM bias, or at least a bias away from MM. If that's not the case then I'd be surprised.

I wonder who the one shaman vote is... ;)

But yeah, BM hunter all the way.

BM Hunter.

But I will also probably be leveling up a shaman as well to take advantage of the healer slots needed with the flood of Demon Hunter (tanks/DPS).
And a Demon hunter as well.

So probably hitting Legion with Hunter, shaman and Demon Hunter...and because why not, make a baby gnome hunter!!!

Yeah I'm the Shaman ;). Wain has been my main since day 1 of me playing. While my BM hunter, Mhu, is technically my second I level him in parallel and get him all the same things. It's good to experience both Alliance and Horde storylines to the same extent.

Hunter is main of mains, through thick and thin. My DK is likely gonna continue as my primary alt. I usually have a secondary alt, thats traditionally been druid or paladin due to flexibility. I wish I could get behind a cloth class as an alt but they always feel too squishy to me, even locks. I'm likely doing it wrong.

Interesting observation about Petopia and MM since its truly petless now.

A hunter will always be my main of course, and I'm going to be sticking with BM even if some of the changes so far don't appeal to me since, well, it's my spec. And I'm too attached to my pets and being ranged to want to try MM or SV (though don't get me wrong, I'll absolutely give them a spin on alts!)

I feel like I'll try a lot of other classes in Legion though as well since I've managed to level SO MANY of my alts in WoD. I've got all these 100s and I have a better feel for classes I never really tried much in the past. This is one of the first times I've had so many different classes at max level, and I'm excited to keep going with a lot of them.

This is the first expansion where I don't know who I'll make my main. I had a moonkin since vanilla and a hunter alt beast master, but as my health declined I found soloing difficult without a pet class. I made my warlock my main in the last expac. I'm sort of over him though so I'll probably use my beast master hunter though I'm not entirely sure. It's not an easy class to play with so many buttons I'll have to see what happens in Legion.

My main will probably continue to be my druid. My primary alt has been BM hunter since BC, but I the prospect of having Hati buzzing around me all the time may make me cringe too much for that.

My main will still be my BM Hunter. I may not like my artifact being a gun, and I may not be completely thrilled with the entire prospect of Hati; but this is my favorite class and my favorite spec. No other class/spec has ever been nearly as fun for me so.... BM Hunter it will be :)

But my alts will have a blast too. My paladin can't wait to get Ashbringer and my Feral druid is gonna have a field day.

I've mained a hunter since I started playing, but I've recently fallen in love with my enhancement shaman and I have a feeling that'll be my main come legion. I'm far more excited for the artifact for my shaman than me BM hunter. I'll give BM a try and the survival on another alt, as well as a few more classes, but I def see my shaman taking the lead in the next expac. :)

Sticking with hunter and priest, as per usual. :) It's still really weird being an exclusively BM hunter after being diehard MM for years, but change happens! (Besides, Hati is 1000% perfect for me now, in connection to other changes. >_> ) My priest is staying disc, as she's always done. :D

Gnome Hunter with a mech pet

I don't need anything else

but maybe try out either or a Pandaren or a Tauren Survival Hunter.

My goal is to have on of each class maxed out to 100 before Legion Hits. After deleting some of my random Hoarde toons and moving my two level 100 Horde toons to a new server to act as the start of a guild bank on what will eventually be my Horde server, a bit closer to that goal. My secondary goal is to by the end of legion, max out as many as I can of each class on the Horde side as well-with me trying to learn how to seriously heal on the classes that can heal and how to tank on the classes that can tank (I've been a purely DPS/backup heal player for more than six years now.

So I'll main Legion on my Alliance BM hunter-who has been my main since I've joined WoW, that will never really change for me. After that, I'll likely level the toon I consider my secondary main-which is my Elemental Shaman. Past that and based on what classes I currently like? Likely my soon to be Combat Rogue, the new DPS Demon Hunter or such. I may jump to my level 100 Horde hunter and make her a survival spec, just to give it a go relatively early in the expansion, just to see what the spec is like and to see the expansion from the Horde point of view.

I voted hunter but I'm honestly not all that sure yet. *shrug*
I will go between BM and SV though. Which is how several of my girls are set up now. The only other class (other than trying out a demon hunter) is my warlock.
