Ok so I suck at subject creation. But. HEY! I totally had a thought!
We haven't had a new breed since NotN 2014. Yep you read that correctly. It's been that long.

I was thinking ..................... speculating that this FR anniversary is going to be a big to do with the color wheel. So why not launch a new breed! I have a hunch it's a high probability this could happen. Why not throw it in since we're getting so many new epic colors. Hatch a new breed in an amazing new color!

So what do you think??

If so. What type of breed?? What flight or would it be random like the Nocs?

Disclaimer: This is meant in FUN. Just to speculate and scuttle bug over.

Feel free to post your own speculations if you have them.

Personally I speculate we will get a new breed with the color wheel. Or during the Brightshine Jubilee and it'll be attached to light since June is FR's launch month. I also speculate it will be either a very large breed or very small.

Love the first and fourth one, but I'm afraid some look almost like hybrids of the current breeds and might not be unique enough for her to warrant adding them. Especially the second and third. The second is very close to PCs in anatomy, but both have tundra and imperial traits.

And I think the last one was an old Flamecaller concept? Not sure though.

Excited either way.. I'd really, really love a more traditional, western dragon type breed. I know the guardian is close to what people think when they hear dragon, but I'm not the biggest fan of the males anatomy. Something more spikey and lean but still muscular, quadruped. And without the beard

Even a more aquatic breed would be great. Maybe eel inspired or something.

It would be nice to see a new breed for the anniversary along with the color wheel... That'd be asking a lot though so not holding my breath.

Yeah its been soo long since we had a new species!! But i hope they dont make it a gem species.. the gem rate is too high as it is now.

and this is mostly for fun and laugh... be a good addition to the fae though

BONEKNAPPER! That's one of my favorite dragons in that movie /game /series. Would be cool to see something along those lines. A Leviathan would be dope also.

I know we probably won't get a new breed but. Fun thought.

Something like a Rumblethorn /Skullcrusher would be sick

I understand that FR lore dictates dragon can only have one head, must have 6 limbs (4 legs, 2 wings) but I also feel that limits IN A WAY new species possibilities without each breed looking so much like another.

It would be cool to have something like this too

yes these need some of the stuff which makes a fr dragon but its just to add them

. specially the pug owl

I would love another bird like dragon to pair off with the skydancers

I would personally love gryphons but other birds would work too

There are soo many cool dragons designs out there.. all that is needed is to add the extra they are missing

It's not a matter of lore it's a matter of not over complicating things in regards to apparel and such.

I really hope for a new breed, there are so many lovely examples in this thread already <3

If they made one like the first image on your post;

There'd be literally nothing else in my lair ever. lol

I would LOVE to see a new breed and I'll probably be happy no matter what it is. It would be exciting!

I think that they can adapt, lore-wisely, the surge of the new colors with a new chameleon-like species. Would be great to see a new breed, but given that preparing a new color wheel already means a lot of work, I don't know how likely it is we'll get anything new for a while.

I just think /feel 1.5 yrs is too long without having a new breed though. I understand implementing a new breed is A LOT work but even the launch of the color wheel will not bring back the masses who've become bored. I am not saying it won't cause people to become active again. I have no doubts it will but not like the player who've left because overall things became boring without a new breed to play with. Even I have reduced my time because A) lair expansion are too expensive I feel B) no new colors C) bored with the current breeds <-------- largest factor for me. The launch of the color wheel along with a new breed would be awesome.
Doubt it will happen but awesome none the less

I dont think I´ll ever tire of this game.. i have so much fun with my way way too many old dragon projects.. but a new breed would be nice

And even more treasure genes.. I find i tire of treasure genes faster than i tire of breeds
