Can anyone confirm taming The Evalcharr on the PTR? With the Legion Invasion Azshara has been transformed and all the Chimaera in The Evalcharr's spawn area are gone. Just concerned one of the very tough to get rare uniques ... may now be impossible to get.

I don't know much about the invasions yet. They haven't been on at good times for me to check them out. Are the areas they appear permanently phased? Or is it only during the specific event?

Only during the event. Once Legion launches, it'll be phased back to normal.

This intrigued me. PTR and Beta weren't consistent.

On PTR, the stags were there but I didn't see any chimaeras.

On Beta, everything was there except Evalcharr. It has a stupid long respawn timer even now from what I understand. I'll keep an eye out.

Invasions were happening on both when I checked.

Blizz did a special test for the Invasion in Azshara today. Blues showed up to lead the raids and everything. More likely than not, they created a special phase for the event.

If you didn't want to waste a lot of time checking, you should listen to the words of Edgar Allen POE ... (Did you know Poe wasn't DEAF?) *cough cough*

Theres definitely some phasing going on. You can see that if you log in, there will be the normal NPCs and they will phase out a few seconds later.

Thought so. It'll go back to normal once the Invasion is over with
